The Space:

As seen in VOGUE and Sight Unseen, West & Wild's private retreat is a spacious and peaceful hacienda in the Flamingo Heights neighborhood of Yucca Valley. Kick back and relax by the pool, or take in the stars whilst soaking in the hot tub. This home is designed for comfort, entertaining, & is close to all the desert's best spots. It's sparkling clean, sanitized, so you can call it home :)

☆ BEDROOMS ☆

There is plenty of sleeping space for a crowd with 4 bedrooms (including a freestanding pool Casita) + a Moroccan-style loft! 3 bedrooms feature private en suite bathrooms, making for multiple master suites. All beds feature ultra-comfy Leesa mattresses, and InBed & Coyuchi linens. 2 of the 4 bedrooms are outfitted with luxurious queen-sized beds while you’ll enjoy even more space to stretch out in the king beds offered in the 3rd bedroom and in the 4th bedroom (casita). A stylish Moroccan-style loft boasts four super-comfy twin XL beds, perfect for adults or a sleepover for the kids.



This home is so comfortable, you’ll love making it your own for a longer stay. Or, travel locally and enjoy the added privacy this hacienda has to offer while being close to home.



☆ BATHROOMS ☆

Our bathrooms are the epitome of home luxury with rainfall showerheads, gorgeous, and unique tile showers. The high-quality Coyuchi towels and robes are also perfect for lounging with a cup of Canyon coffee (supplied) in the lounge or out on the patio overlooking stunning desert views. Two bathrooms are nestled away within the master bedrooms, one is dedicated to the casita, and the third in the living room is great for sharing!



☆ KITCHEN & LOUNGE ☆

Create a quick snack or a meal fit for a crowd in our fully-equipped gourmet kitchen. Stocked with Cafe Appliances, Global Cutlery knives, and Libbey plateware/glassware, this space is designed for both beauty and functionality. The island with 10 bar stools is a perfect place to visit with the family chef over a charcuterie board and a bottle of natural wine.



You will love the high ceilings and big windows that let in that magic desert light. The spacious living room offers up a comfy sectional and fireplace, perfect for gathering together or kicking back with a book.



☆ POOL & OUTSIDE SPACE ☆

Our sparkling, artist-designed, and painted swimming pool is likely to be your favorite part of the home, especially with the comfortable lounge furniture. It is not heated, but we do have a new outdoor hot tub which makes up for it in the chillier months. Make use of our propane grill to create an outdoor meal with friends or family and end the day with a fire in our outdoor fire pit area, complete with campfire-ready seating. This hacienda wouldn’t be the oasis it is without its very own Joshua tree!



☆ PETS ☆

Pets are allowed, but a $125 per pet fee does apply, and must be pre-approved beforehand.



☆ EVENTS/WEDDINGS ☆

We generally do not allow events & weddings at our property, however, sometimes we make exceptions. All weddings/events must be pre-approved, must be less than 20 people, they can go no later than 10pm, and there is an event fee of $2,500, which is added on top of the booking amount. This covers extra cleaning, trash pickup, event insurance, etc. These stipulations & the fee are non-negotiable.

As our guests, you will enjoy exclusive access to the entire property. This is a perfect place to get away and stay safe with optimal social distancing opportunities. Explore some of the businesses loved by locals, experience Joshua Tree National Park, or just enjoy this gorgeous hacienda and all it has to offer.

The Neighborhood:

We're located in the heart of the new hotspot Flamingo Heights, a 2 minute drive from La Copine, Moon Wind Trading Co, and Giant Rock Meeting Room & Coffee House.



Pappy & Harriet's is 17 minutes away in Pioneertown, downtown Yucca Valley is 10 away, and the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park is 25 minutes away.



Getting Around:

A car is useful, but if you're having a night out we would recommend either Lyft/Uber or the local taxi service (especially if you're going to Pappy's and Harriet's which has no cell service :)



Other Things to Note:

No parties or outside noise past 10pm. If the size of your party has increased or you expect to have any outside visitors then please let us know immediately. Pets are allowed, but there is a fee of $125 per pet which must be pre-approved beforehand. It is a $50 charge if you go in the hot tub and/or pool dirty, which results in cloudiness and we need to drain it. Events, weddings, and photo shoots must be pre-approved (see stipulations in “Events/Weddings” section above).

This is a friendly reminder regarding the bathrobe. If the bathrobe goes missing when we clean after your check out, that we will have to charge a replacement fee.

Please note that EV Charging is prohibited in the property.



Interaction with Guests:

The house is completely private and 100% yours during your stay. Enjoy keyless digital check in and a security system, as well as a private backyard.
