« My husband and I have been camping, hiking, downhill and xcountry skiing on the Laurel Summit for decades. Everytime, we wished we could find lodging on mountain. « We live in Ligonier but needed a place to house our visiting relatives for a bridal shower. I had always admired this house and was excited that it was available to rent for my family. They loved the Victorian architecture and the convenient downtown location. It was especially beautiful decorated for Christmas. I would highly recommend this house for your vacation. « The house was great. You could ski the Avalanche Lift trail and reach the house from the trail.There were plenty of towels for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked. The table could seat 12, but anymore than that, you would need to use the other tables or the bar area.
