"Great place to stay within Yosemite’s borders. Comfortably housed our family of 7 for a week. You will love the tranquility and closeness to all of Yosemite’s beauty! One word to the wise: stock up before you arrive, the nearest large grocery store is an hour away, but if you are like us, the closeness to nature is why you are even considering this beautiful property!!! A wonderful stay in every way!"

"Can’t beat the location, the house is exactly what they say it is. It’s only about 25 minutes to the valley in Yosemite, and 30min to sunsets at Taft or sentinel. The house had linens, pillows, coffee maker(not a Keurig), grill, plenty of kitchen pots/pans, bowls, plates, knives, utensils, washer and dryer (definitely a bonus)and lots of fans located throughout the house. We had a great time! The only problems we had were when we did leave the park and had to come back in at the gate they gave us trouble because our names were not in the CPU. But when we explained the situation and showed receipt with address and location they reluctantly let us back in. Definitely want a copy of the contract with the house address and your name with the dates of stay. The landline phone was a bonus ( told our teenage kids this is what it was like when we grew up). The house did have a couple of tiny issues, upstairs bathroom gfi receptacle did not work(upstairs receptacles all seemed to be worn out), downstairs bedroom light switch cover was cracked, and a couple window screens had holes and 2 downstairs windows had no screens (tough to get a good breeze), but no major issues. Definitely would stay again as a base camp for our trip. Loved the neighborhood, and the drive to Yosemite! Your can’t get a better location, I would rather be here than in the valley. The house was very clean also when we got there. Thank you for letting us stay in you home! "

"Our family of 4 stayed here for our Yosemite vacation. The home was clean and well cared for. More than enough space to sleep, hang out, eat, etc. We especially appreciated the kitchen which had everything we could want or need for food prep and cooking. The location was very peaceful and tucked into Yosemite West. We liked the relatively close proximity of Yosemite West to Yosemite Valley. Before arriving, it was tricky to understand what "Yosemite West" meant and that it was technically in the park. This was particularly important because we heard about potential wait times to enter if you didn't arrive early in the morning. "

"We lucked out with this one on a short notice Yosemite vacation. This place was perfect! The kids loved that they could choose to sleep in separate beds, and it was nice that they had games to entertain while we were cooking or relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked, and there is filtered water on the fridge door. The bathroom is beautiful. There is a box fan that made sleeping comfortable, and the king bed is as really comfortable for us. This is the only at to drive into Yosemite through Tunnel View, and it’s right down from the turnoff to Glacier Point. "

"Location of home is great. Clean and all kitchen supplies needed where available.The only negative review is that faucet to bathroom downstairs did not function well. We had to turn water off and on below sink since water keeps running. to down b"
