Your space is fully separate and private, including your entrance, deck, and parking area. ✔ Access via 18 Stairs – The entrance to Serenity Suite is down an 18-step stairway, which is extra-wide for easy luggage transport. ✔ Normal Footstep Sounds from Above – As this is a lower unit, you may hear occasional footfall from the home above. We’ve built with soundproofing, and past guests have been satisfied, but please expect some normal sounds of occupancy. ✔ Who This Home is Best Suited For – Serenity Suite is designed for active couples who want an adventure-first experience. It was quiet, secluded but also extremely easy to get to! It’s perfectly located to give a nice drive to the valley but not too far where it becomes taxing after a long day of hiking. We stayed five nights. The place was very organized and clean. Great location for getting around the park. Tons of information in the suite and provided via correspondence with the owners. They had everything you would need to stay comfortably. And it was all labeled and organized very well. The jetted tub and bath salts were very nice. It was nice to have a washer and dryer. This was up there with the best vacation rental we've stayed in. It was sparkling clean, it had everything you need for a feel at home experience and more. Holly and Jeff are very helpful and friendly. Location is great. Not really in National Park land but access is only thru the natioal park road. It's about 40 min to the Village due to 35mph road limit, but you feel you are in park land because Yosemite West is just as pristine a land. Beautiful!!! The location, the communication, the cleanliness, the amenities, etc. I could go on and on. It was well stocked and quiet. It was perfect for the two of us as our home away from home. We were able to fix our meals with ease. We took our lunches with us to the park and ate in the other two. I am picky about cleanliness and this was top notch. It is everything as described. The location is a perfect cozy home base for exploring Yosemite. Serenity Suite is the lower level of a two story cottage. It is spacious as advertised, beautifully furnished, and we were very comfortable for our four night stay. There is a nice private deck in the back where we occasionally saw some Yosemite mule deer and birds coming into the yard to eat some berries. Our host Holly was very helpful, sending an email head of our stay with good suggestions for groceries and gas on our way in. She answered questions quickly. It was really clean, well-furnished, and the house and its setting (among towering evergreens) are absolutely beautiful. At only about a 15-minute drive from the Tunnel View of Yosemite Valley, this location is convenient to the valley attractions. It's at a much higher elevation than the valley floor, and we often found the place in the fog of clouds. We returned on a rainy afternoon in the park to find a light dusting of snow on the ground in the Yosemite West community - it rapidly melted off, but was a testament to how the weather can be very different between the valley floor and the higher-elevation condo. There is an upstairs unit directly above, but noise from occupants up there seemed limited and tolerable. All in all, this place was wonderful and we loved it. ##### Kristopher G. The location is stunning - both the development itself and its proximity to Yosemite Valley, the Mariposa Grove, and other amazing places. So good to be inside the gates! The property is immaculate and very handsome. All the features as promised - sparkling modern kitchen and bath, jetted tub, huge windows, great gas fireplace - the most realistic and functional we've ever experienced. Yes, a bit of thin ceiling with the upstairs, but it was never a problem. We had a snow storm while there. We shoveled to get out early, but when we came home, every bit we didn't get to had been cleared. Also as advertised, there is no cell connection. The satellite internet worked just fine for basic connection, but not for streaming. We had a grand time with an interesting and varied DVD collection, games, cooking, and reading. Holly was a great communicator - plenty of information and very timely. We would stay here again without question! ##### Jennifer R.
