This comfortable studio is in the heart of Yosemite National Park. \*PLEASE NOTE- Bring supplies with you! The nearest major market is in the town of Oakhurst if coming from the South or Mariposa if taking the route from the North. Oakhurst has two major supermarkets and a Grocery Outlet and Mariposa has one supermarket. Get all food and supplies before you arrive, If you need emergency supplies there are two small markets in the town of Wawona, about 25 minutes away by car. The markets in Wawona are generally expensive and close early so we recommend doing most of your shopping in Oakhurst or Mariposa. \* Starter coffee and tea are provided (enough for first morning), bring additional for longer stays. Salt, Pepper and oil are also provided. Plan to bring all other food items. Please make sure to check your Check-In instructions. A link will be sent before you arrive. You will also need to make note of your personalized door code for entry. Cell service and wifi may be spotty in the park - Plan ahead! We recommend that you screenshot your reservation information or ensure that the page is loaded before you reach the entrance to the National Park. During busy times, the National Park staff may ask you to show a park reservation for entry, if this happens please let them know you are staying with us inside the park and show them your booking information. \* Being inside Yosemite park is amazing, however it is also at a high elevation and snow is likely in the winter. Please make sure to come prepared with tire chains, winter clothes and boots in the cold months. Check the weather conditions and road closures on the national park website. Roads are usually plowed quickly after storms but chains will likely be required in the winter. \*This listing is based on double occupancy, meaning there is a fee for each guest beyond 2 people. Day visitors are not allowed so every person on the property at any time (including infants and children), must be on your reservation. Maximum guest occupancy is 4. \* Early check-in and late check-out must be arranged in advance and will come with a charge. Getting staff into Yosemite to clean is a challenge. The Housekeeping company pays their staff by the hour, whether they are cleaning or waiting for guests to leave. In general they charge a fee of $25 per hour to alter the check in or check out time We are very responsive during daytime hours. The best way to reach us is via the message function on the booking platform. Our office and staff are located near Oakhurst CA, which is an hour away. We have systems in place to meet your needs without in person assistance. If you do need in person assistance/maintenance, we will do our best to have staff available as soon as possible. This neighborhood has no services like grocery stores or restaurants. Please come prepared to be in a rural setting. Gas and basic services are a 25 minute drive back to Wawona. Please plan accordingly. You will need a car to get around. If you would like to avoid parking congestion inside Yosemite Valley in the summer the YARTS bus picks up at Wawona. There is also a free shuttle for travel within the Valley. Please note: some roads from the East, such as Tioga Pass and Glacier Point are seasonal and are closed October through June. When we arrived at the unit, there was no electricity. There was no accommodations made. The entire unit was electric. It was 98° and it was impossible to get a hold of someone. First - owners did not provide information on unit location. It took us 2 hours to find it, and only after help from a local. Second - owners did not provide the apartment room number. I found the unit by trying the door key code at several rooms. By luck I found the correct unit. Third - the unit was advertised as good for 4 people, leading us to assume there were at least two beds. There was only one double bed, so some people would have to sleep on the floor. The sofa is not a sleeper sofa. Fourth - the owners did not provide their telephone number. There was no way to ask them for help.
