It was clean and we'll keep. Quiet. Nice pool area. The adjoining restaurant leaves a lot to be desired.

Pros: Near all of town activities. Good price
Location: About an hour from Yosemite gate. Yosemite park is something that should be experienced by everyone. Bass lake is a fun way to spend the day boating,

Fill like your in the mountains

Posted 20-Sep-2016
If your getting away from the city this is the place to stay. It is built on a mountain side with lots of different things to see. lots of trees, landscaping, deer, and squirrels, I even BBQ next to a giant water fall on the property. Great Place to get away from city life.

Poor attitude of hotel staff

Posted 16-Sep-2016
we were never thanked for our business, never asked if there was anything that they could do to make the stay comfortable. The folks at the front office or guest relations have no business begin a client facing role, absolutely zero people skills and no desire to interact with us. We went off season so they weren't busy, I think they're bored by tourists so they need to find something more suitable for their skill set

My Stay in Oakhurst.

Posted 9-Sep-2016
Pros: (See above.)
Cons: TV. Room privacy. (See above.)
This hotel has some architectural problems. On the second floor, balconies are not separated from each other, so each guest can walk around and peep in on the others. On the first floor it's worse. The same as the second except no separation from the pool. I don't believe all the rooms have this problem, so if you book, try to get a room away from the pool area. Otherwise, the hotel is very nice with a spectacular lounge area. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The only other thing that needs fixing is the TV. The cable is set up with the wrong kind of video for the wide screen TVs, so everything is stretched and relatively poor image quality. Looks like they just plugged the old signal into the new TVs. I think the cable just needs to be upgraded. I would recommend this hotel overall for the comfort and convenience, if you're mindful of the caveats above.

Great for the park

Basic but good. Great location. Highway 41 is a fabulous driving road into the Yosemite National Park. Curves all the way. Oakhurst is a small town but it has all you need.
