Yosemite vacation

Posted 21-May-2017
Pros: Location, convenience pleasant surroundings.
Cons: The breakfast, really slow pancake machine and variety is limited.
Location: Of course the park is the big attraction but we were close enough to go to the Sequoyah Forest and to a railroad museum in Jamestown. Kyacking.
The access to Yosemite National Park from the inn at Oakhurst is the best of all the entrances to the park, I know because I came in 3 different ways. The road is not as steep or curvy as the others and only about 14 miles from the park entrance which comes in handy if you are driving in every day. There are a lot of different places to dine in Oakhurst and the area itself scenic. I think I made the best choice of locations outside the park and would recommend it to anyone who regularly stays at Best Western Hotels.

Close to Yosemite

Posted 20-May-2017
Pros: Location and setting.
Cons: A little updating would be nice. I am not sure what can be done about hearing the pipes in the room above every time someone flushed the toilet.
The location is great for those coming from Southern California. It is not fancy and the breakfast is okay. We could hear the neighbors above us especially when they used anything in the bathroom.

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated how friendly everyone was. Breakfast was included and it was good. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and it was very good. Good food and very friendly staff.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! it is about 45 mins from Yosemite which was perfect. We booked this hotel an a whim just for a place to rest our head for the night but were shocked by how lovely and beautiful the hotel and grounds were. we both agreed we wished we would've known is was that nice and we would've booked it for two nights instead of just one. We plan on coming back to Yosemite again and will definitely be staying here.

Decent Stay, Reasonable Price

Posted 7-May-2017
Pros: Clean rooms, shampoo dispenser in shower, good location, courteous staff
Cons: Firmer pillows, more security patrols late at night
A decent stay for a reasonable price. We went to a wedding nearby and didn't want to risk driving all the way home, so we stayed here. The rooms were clean and comfortable overall. I'm more of a firm-pillow guy so the very soft/squishy pillows don't really do it for me. There were also some noisy people (I assume from a neighboring room) talking outside very late at night, and it seemed to go on for quite awhile before they left. It would have been nice if a staff member had asked them to quiet down. Otherwise, the room was satisfactory. I have a nicer car so I'm usually worried about parking, and the parking lot was adequate.

Great hotel at bargain price

Set in tiered garden, room overlooked outside pool. Good eateries around, rare commend Italian down the street and steak house about a mile away up the hill. Average breakfast, pancakes worth a try

Lovely comfort hotel

Posted 5-May-2017
Pros: The staff were lively and our room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money.
Cons: Can't think of anything !!!
Location: Great little town with plenty of places to eat ( if not in the hotel) and to shop for groceries / essentials etc. Yosemite National Park not too far.
We have a very enjoyable stay here - the beds were very comfortable, the breakfasts were awesome and the evening dining was also excellent. Exceptionally friendly and efficient staff - always had a smile on their faces. Great location - especially for visiting the Yosemite Natuonal Park.
