We stayed one night for my sister’s 30th birthday, 3 of us in a super king room. We arrived to find a double sofa bed pulled out and made up at the foot of the super king sized bed, which was great. I’d mentioned it was my sister’s birthday & they had left balloons on the bed and a cake with “happy birthday” on the table - we hadn’t requested this, so this was fab! The room was big, bathroom clean, plenty of room for the 3 of us to get ready. One huge downside is having to pay £7 to park your car round the back of the hotel, especially as it’s not particularly close to the doors so it’s £7 & still effort to drag your bags in. This is a real shame when you’ve already paid a lot of money to stay over for the night. Breakfast was delicious - couldn’t fault it! Loads of choice and all tasted fresh. My sister had a massage the next morning, which she loved. And we all used the spa facilities, which unfortunately was a disappointment as there were multiple baby swimming classes on (Tuesday late morning - definitely avoid), definitely not relaxing with the songs and crying, someone even changed their baby’s nappy on the sunbed next to me.. but other than that, it would have been great; sauna, steam room, pool & jacuzzi. Just a shame they hire the spa out for baby classes and don’t warn you of this.
