Perfect place to stay in York! The staff is very friendly, food is amazing, veggie breakfast was one of the best I ever had! Double room we stayed at was spacious, clean and quiet. Decent selection of food on menu. Walkable distance to the city centre but there is a bus stop about 5 minutes away and taxis are plentiful. The cons: open until 3 pm, some weird noises from the walls, thin walls and you can hear your neighbors, the teapot was dirty. The furniture was covered in stains and we were unable to use the shower properly as it was very loosely attached to the wall. Also upon arriving we were greeted by a young lad who was basically running the place alone and wasn't very professional or at all concerned with making sure we were happy. The only positive thing I could say about this establishment is, the location isn't bad.
