The bathrooms were spacious and like the rest of the property well equipped. If I had one very minor addition to suggest it would be a nonslip mat for the shower over the bath as it was slippery under foot. I would whole heartedly recommend this house for getting the best from a stay in York. Just a few minutes walk from the Centre of York in a lovely quiet location. The house is extremely well equipped and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Fabulous linens and comfy beds. Great showers. We really appreciated the supply of teabags, milk and welcome biscuits and really cannot think of anyway this property could be improved. The owners were very kind and let us park our car on the drive when we arrived at lunchtime and ahead of the check-in time of 4pm. Their flexibility was really appreciated. The property is situated in an ideal location …just minutes walk from the centre of York. Despite being so central, it was very peaceful and quiet and lovely to return to after a busy day sightseeing. The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable and very well equipped . I would have no hesitation in recommending this property and we would definitely return to it were we to visit York again.
