Carriage House at One Long Beach

This beautifully remodeled Carriage House is perfectly located, modern and spacious. It features roomy bedrooms and bathrooms, multiple common rooms, a modern kitchen, hardwood flooring, central air conditioning and more. It's a perfect solution for families or a medium size group of friends! The Carriage House has five bedrooms, three baths and two common areas (an upstairs living room and additional living room in the basement) so there's plenty of space for your group to relax and enjoy your beach vacation.
The Carriage House is one of five One Long Beach Properties that are all located at the One Long Beach address. The other rental homes available for rent at this address are: Goose Rocks Cottage, Heron Neck Cottage, Owls Head Cottage, and The Main House. In addition, we have two additional ocean front properties located down the street, the Sea View and the Sand and Surf.
Just yards away, Short Sands Beach and downtown York Beach Village offers a sandy beach, quaint shops, ice cream, restaurants, entertainment and more--perfect for the young at heart! Looking to adventure beyond Short Sands? We are located less than 1/4 mile from Long Sands Beach, a short walk to the Nubble Lighthouse and a short bike ride to York Village.
Renters must read and acknowledge the Renters Information and Agreement Letter for the property.

Even better than expected

From the time I booked until I checked out, I was super impressed with the communication from both Ed and Tamara. As a multi time vrbo renter - I can say this was the best communication and willingness to meet my requests I’ve ever experienced. The house was super well equipped with great appliances. Everything was new and clean and in amazing shape. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to experience all that York offers.

Highly recommend!

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the carriage house in York, Maine. It was clean, roomy, and well equipped. Best of all, you can easily walk to Short Sands Beach and to the downtown area. For a slightly longer but still lovely walk, you can go to Nubble Lighthouse (well worth the visit!). At night, if you sleep in the front bedroom, you can hear the waves crashing on the beach. Be sure to eat at the Sun and Surf Restaurant on Long Sands Beach. My only word of caution would be the parking, which is tight throughout York, but Ed, the owner, was very accommodating and allowed us to park a couple of cars in the back as those cottages were empty. My friends and I are hoping to return to the carriage house next year!

Lovely home in a great location!

We took our first trip as a family of 2 with friends in the same boat and the house was perfect for our party of 8. Close to beach, town and playground and walkable to almost everything! Ed was an excellent host and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend and go back!

Family friendly perfect location

We traveled to the carriage house with three families. It was the most perfect location! Steps to the beach and short walk to town made it a perfect location for little ones! We had an amazing time and the house was perfect. Fully loaded with everything we need and very comfortable! Thanks Ed and Barbara! Beautiful location

Great house with plenty of space and all the amenities our group needed. With the beach practically across the street, it was easy to move back and forth between the house and the water for maximum relaxation. Hosts made checking in and out a breeze. A great place to vacation in York!

The house was perfect - clean, plenty of space for 2 families and a great location! We ended up with a rainy weekend but we made the best of it and the house was perfect. The house is located blocks from the town and around the corner from the beach. Perfect! Thank you Ed for a great weekend!

6 Seniors LOVED Their Stay!!

We were a group of 6 neighbors who are seniors from MA that were looking for a getaway. We have some pretty specific needs with accessibility....so this house was perfect with a main floor bedroom, a very nice bedroom downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs. Very clean and cozy. Beds are very comfortable. Location, location, location.....walking distance to everything and lots of sightseeing opportunities in the area. Ed was great to work with and had very quick responses to any of our questions. If I had to sum up my review of the Carriage House in one word it would be "WONDERFUL".

Fun, family celebration in York Beach

Three generations came together to celebrate our daughter’s 40th birthday. The location of the house is perfect, close to town and the beach. The unit is clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. We were able to spread out over 3 floors and enjoyed sitting outside in the back yard as well. We would definitely recommend this property. It was a memorable weekend for all!
