The location is fantastic (a few metres from Shin Yokohama station) and there are great shops and restaurants around the hotel. The staff could not have been friendlier and service was excellent. The rooms were huge by Japan standards and well equipped with a lovely sitting area. We booked two adjoining rooms for the family. A tip for getting there: take the Shinkansen exit and walk straight across the plaza to the smaller side street, rather than walking towards the McDonalds. Hotel itself is wonderful and is probably the nicest smelling hotel I've ever stayed in. Although my check-in was a bit late, the receptionist took the time to explain the bus transportation options clearly. The next day, after I checked out, I was worried I might miss my bus since I did not know the way, but the same receptionist kindly explained the way to the bus stop quickly and suggested that I could return to the hotel if miss the bus, which I really appreciated. I also left a personal item in the hotel room, and the hotel was very helpful in arranging for its shipment at my expense.
