An even shorter walk if you're going to the Octagon theatre which is pretty much on the doorstep .. The place was very clean and has all you need to self cater .. Richard who was my contact is a really nice guy and as I was on my own even invited me to the pub with him and his friends before the gig .. When I arrived it was very dark and raining, I did struggle to follow the instructions on how to collect keys extra as there was no light and I didn’t feel particularly safe, maybe that’s just me. I didn’t feel comfortable and could hear everything from next door.. I actually felt like they were in the room with me. Provision of cereal, milk, butter & instant drinks was nice. Bed was great, though the cobwebs on the ceiling were disappointing. Small bathroom was in need of attention, huge shower dominated and was in need of a clean and of restocking. When shower gel expired the lack of a shelf meant we had nowhere to put our soap not the mini toiletteries that were provided when I contacted the owner.
