Just five minutes to the Buffalo River. Perfect for couples and families up to five. SLEEPING (5 guests): Sleeps 3 in upstairs master loft (1 queen, 1 twin) Sleeps 2 in downstairs small bunk room (2 rv-style bunk beds) DOWNSTAIRS: LIVING ROOM - Loveseat, ottomans, RokuTV, electric fireplace, a bistro table for 2-4 people and a small computer desk under the open stairs. UPDATED KITCHEN - Electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, large counter for preparing meals, open shelves stocked with plates, bowls, drinkware and room for pantry item. The kitchen includes pots, pans, utensils and basic cooking needs (salt, pepper, garlic, etc) with French doors onto the screened porch. BATH - full bath/shower with clawfoot tub. BUNK BED NOOK – small bunk room off the kitchen with 2 RV bunk neds UPSTAIRS: The loft is open (no door), but secluded because you don't overlook downstairs. MASTER SUITE - queen bed and twin bed (tucked away in its own nook). HALF BATH – enjoy the convenience of the half bath with sink and toilet. SITTING AREA – two seating chairs for reading PRIVATE LAUNDRY ROOM: (shared only with housekeeping) off the back porch. Please bring your laundry detergent. COVERED BACK PORCH 6 person dining table (with special puzzle table top for those who enjoy working puzzles) 2 rocking chairs Propane grill (use what's in the tank then refill if you need!) OUTSIDE: Firepit and picnic table are just off the steps. Propane Grill on your deck. Bring your cooking supplies. We request our guests REFILL the propane tank if they use the last of the gas, as a courtesy to the next guest upon arrival. Wild Bill’s exchanges tanks at the corner. You will have a view of our ridge looking towards the Buffalo National River forestland. You will also see the historic Lynch waterslide just outside your porch landing! PARKING: Free, and ample. If you are bringing trailers (RV’s, 4x4’s), we have space – just let us know COMMUNITY AMENTIES: Baker Lodge is one of five cabins on our property. There are common spaces available to all our guests. Large lawn areas Rope swings in trees Disc golf goal and discs IMPORTANT NOTES: Our internet is not super fast. It tends to work fine for streaming movies, email, video calls. Video Monitoring. We take seriously the safety of our guests, our team and the property. External video devices are used on this property for security purposes only. These devices are located facing the driveways and paths so we can monitor access. Access to data is limited to our owners and stored for a set period of time by our third party provider. VERY CLOSE BY: The Ridge is located in the heart of the Buffalo Point recreational area of the Buffalo National River. 3 miles to Buffalo Point Campground beach area - at the end of our road! 4 miles to the Indian Rockhouse Trailhead (it's a must-do on your trip) 2.1 miles to Dillards Ferry river access 6.8 miles to Rush Old Mining Town with river access 0.3 miles to Wild Bill's Outfitters (gas, grocery, trips) 0.3 miles to Dirst Canoe Rentals (grocery, trips) IN THE AREA: Kenda Drive-In in Harriet Fishermen can enjoy the Buffalo River, Crooked Creek, or visit Cotter on the White River. Yellville is about 20 minutes north (closest grocery store). Marshall - another float put-in spot - is also about 20 minutes south You're within an hour and a half of so many hikes including some of our favorites in Arkansas like the Centerpoint Trail to Hemmed-in-Hollow or Big Bluff. We are The Ridge at Buffalo Point. We offer 5 cabins on our 3 acres property, and we can work with you to find the best accommodation to fit your needs. The Ridge at Buffalo Point is a set of 5 cabins just outside Buffalo Point access to the Buffalo National River. Your cabin is at the front of the property and was built upon the foundation of the old Lynch waterside, an in ground cement waterslide that is now out of use but created many great memories with local kids through the years.
