A beautifully restored property set in a valley surrounded by limestone caves and to top that off a thermal pool within walking distance. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the kitchen and common areas are spacious and well equipped. There is no internet reception which only adds to the tranquility and charm. The park rangers gave us a warm welcoming and were full of knowledge, especially Sharon who was our guide for the Jersey cave. We were a little disappointed to find out that our private bathroom was next door and not an en-suite, but at least it was private. We had to take all of our own food, which we worked out, but the secure food cupboard didn’t keep the bush rat out so our bread was eaten on our first night. After that everything went into the fridge.
