Kayaks & Firepit⭐️ This fabulous cottage features a bright open floor plan with sliders that open out to 2 beautiful patios looking out over Follins Pond, the headwaters of the Bass River. If you're feeling adventurous, you can take a kayak out to the Nantucket Sound. The open concept great room has beautiful views and breezes, comfy seating, a gas burning fireplace and a large flat screen TV. There is a large master with a king size bed, gas fireplace and sitting room, a second room with a twin over full bunk and a spiral staircase leading up to a big beautiful room with a queen bed. There is a full bathroom downstairs & a full bathroom upstairs. The kitchen has a microwave, stove and dishwasher. There is also a convenient stackable washer/dryer. \*\*wifi\*\* linens included Eat outdoors on the beautiful Trex deck or relax on the lower level patio with your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Relax, swim or kayak off your private floating dock!! Pet fee is an additional $50 per stay, except for weekly stays when it is $100 per stay. Dennis has 16 beaches to enjoy on both the ocean & bay. 3 public golf courses are nearby. Other than the birds, the location is quiet, but we didn't feel like we were driving long distances to get to the other attractions at the Cape. All the bedrooms are very spacious. The primary bedroom on the main floor has a fireplace and a sitting area overlooking the water. The bed in the upstairs bedroom is below a skylight so you can see the stars when lying in bed at night. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house was very clean, everything looked new, and there were an abundance of cozy blankets which were much appreciated during our November stay. The outside spaces have wonderful water views. There is a dining area, fire pit area, seating area overlooking the dock and the dock. The Gorey house in Yarmouth was worth visiting and there is a delightful new book/used book store just up the road. I would absolutely stay here again. ##### Christine R. The view from every window is spectacular, if you enjoy water views. The cottage is well equipped and Meg the owner is very responsive. It is very conveniently located, just 10 minutes from Mayflower beach and several nice restaurants. We will be going back for a fifth time next summer. ##### Teri M. Excellent location on a nice sized pond with a beautiful view and lots of shade. The three bedrooms worked out great for everyone. Well furnished with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. What an amazing time our family had at Meg’s spectacular oasis on Follins Pond. The best of what the Cape has to offer wrapped up in an outstanding property with all the best conveniences including central air and great WiFi! The location with a floating dock on such a picturesque expanse of water was absolutely mesmerizing. The fire pit and outdoor table were a delightful bonus. The beds were beyond comfortable and everyone felt supremely rested. We LOVED every second of our stay. Meg was a fantastic host and our vacation was truly enhanced by staying at the sunset cottage. The house is lovely, comfortable and very well equipped, it's location is great and communication with the host was smooth.
