The food at the hotel was amazing, especially the dinner. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a private onsen in our room which was really a bonus. The public onsens were also very clean and well maintained. The 8F one had great views. The rooms were very spacious. Amenities were great. It is an older facility, though still clean and well maintained. Dining halls are huge and there are bar, gift shops and a pottery workshop to keep you occupied. The onsen isn't too fancy, but it is expected at this price. The dinner was much better than I had expected, huge variety and great quality. Comparable to US$200+ per person resorts.
