With plenty of space for four people, dog-friendly attitude, and even a private hot tub, you will feel right at home here! Located about five minutes north of Yachats, this home is in a quiet neighborhood and is a short drive to the beautiful, uncrowded beach! Spend your mornings beachcombing, looking for tidepools, and walking along the sandy shore, then head into town for a nice lunch at a restaurant and some gallery browsing! This two-bedroom, one-bathroom home easily accommodates four guests, and you are even welcome to bring up to two dogs with you (though a nightly fee per dog and minimum fee per stay will apply)! Your furry friends will love walking on the beach just as much as you will. Inside, a colorful and warm color scheme will greet you. Sit in the living room area and pick a DVD to watch (or bring along one of your favorites), play video games on the Nintendo gaming system, stream Netflix, choose a board game to play, use the Internet to look up activities, or simply sit and enjoy the crackling warmth of the wood-burning fireplace. The full kitchen has all major appliances, so cooking during your stay will be a breeze! When it's time to head to bed, choose between the room with the soft, full-size bed, or the second bedroom which has a queen-size bed and a door that opens up to the deck. Head out to the backyard for s'mores at the fire pit. Outside you will find a lovely hot tub! Located under a roof, you will love sitting in the marvelously relaxing hot tub anytime, especially during one of the coast's frequent rainstorms - just imagine listening to the rain bounce off the roof while you relax in the hot tub! Yachats has plenty to keep you busy, but if you start to yearn for a larger city, head north about 25 minutes to reach Newport, where the aquarium, antique shops, and huge variety of restaurants will certainly keep you entertained! There are house numbers on the corner of the fence but we did not see them in the dark. The house was clean and close to HWY 101\. Oct 23, 2024 #### OK if you just want a place to crash at the beach with your dog The positives - the yard is nice and fenced so your dog can be off leash to potty or when you're using the hot tub (if you can get the hot tub to work). There is a nice sized table in the kitchen for playing games/puzzles, etc. The house is very quiet at night and you can hear the ocean. It's not far from Yachats. The negatives - the hot tub goes into a power saving mode and there are no instructions on how to get it into a heating mode. We called for help and didn't get it until the night before we left. We had to do an internet search and it took overnight to get it to heat up. It's a 2 person if you're both on the smaller side, otherwise a one person but nice. The only heating option for the larger living spaces is a small electric fireplace that puts out a bad moldy smell. We turned the base board heater in one room on high and left it there while we closed off the other. The bathroom shower/tub has no grip or grab bar and is very slippery. The house had no cell service on Verizon, but we were able to use wifi calling. There was dog poo in the yard when we got there. The house is at the end of a dark gravel road. If if was traveling solo I would have felt a bit uncomfortable. With 2 of us and our large dog it felt safe though. ##### Maria H. The home is a the end of dead end road and is very quiet and peaceful.
