The historic Little Red Hideaway has a King bed that can be split into two Twins (with prior notice) in a private loft bedroom and a Queen sofa sleeper downstairs. Get cozy by the gas fireplace and soak in the view of the Pacific Ocean. Perfectly located as the edge of the 804 Trail, yet quiet and private. Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, cable TV, DVD player and a gas BBQ grill. Feel like exploring? Check out the boutiques, galleries and restaurants in the heart of Yachats or, choose to take the 804 Walking Trail and explore miles of sandy beach. Sleeps up to 4 - 1 Bedroom, 1 King that can be split into two Twins (with 72 hours prior notice), 1 Twin, 1 Queen Sofa Sleeper, 1 bath. Vehicles: Licensed for 2 (strictly enforced- No street parking) Standard: 2 night minimum; Summer & Holidays: 3-4 night minimum. \*Each home is individually owned. Very close to beach access and the Oregon Coast trail. The cottage is vintage and funky. Loved it. Kitchen well stocked. I will say that it is time to replace the mattresses. Two of us were not able to sleep in the king bed because it was so saggy. That being said there were plenty of pillows and blankets, and throws for the sofa in the cool of the evening. The kitchen was nicely outfitted: the sleeping loft was comfortable and cozy. The gas fireplace was not working while we were there. The staff at Sweet Home were very responsive. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with beach access just steps from the door. We also loved having a full kitchen and being able to hear the waves all day. The perfect property to stay and walk on the beach and watch sunsets. It was a little chilly at night, so we wanted to use the gas fireplace. We lit it and it would run for about 3 minutes and then shut off including pilot light. Fortunately, there were baseboards for heat. Shower was dirty on base both inside and outside. The communication with the property manager didn't go quite as well. I tried asking a question about a couple basic items that were missing from the kitchen, but never had a response back. The fireplace wasn't working when we got there(you definitely want to use the fireplace! Big part of the charm....)Someone from property management came over to start it, but the heat couldn't be regulated and it became to hot in the cottage. It had to be turned off and couldn't be restarted.
