This is a good hotel for travels.
New hotel. Everything is good. Pool and SPA is quite well. The noodle restaurant is very good taste and services.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in
My experience at this hotel has been utterly disappointing. 1. I am sitting in an extremely hot room as I type this review (the thermostat says 29°C). There is no air-conditioning (only heating). I have informed the hotel a number of times, but they are only able to offer me a fan for cooling purpose (a first I have encountered in any hotel, let alone a 5-star hotel). To make things worse, I had to wait past mid-night, over an hour and after repeated reminders before the fan was delivered. 2. When I arrived I was told to expect a power shortage due to city maintenance, but the hotel claimed back-up generators would be available. Nope, that did not happen. The hotel's power (i.e. lights / water / phone / wifi) cut off as scheduled, and power did not resume until some time later. 3. The rooms are fitted with motion sensors that switches lights off at the most inappropriate times (e.g. halfway when you are showering). I understand the need to be environmentally friendly, but this has reached a point so as to be intrusive and irritating. 4. The location of the hotel is terrible. The local taxi drivers have no idea where this hotel is, and its surrounding is constantly plagued with traffic jams. Even at 2am, I can hear sounds of car and car horns (which is a constant in China) from the street below, from 18-storey high. Travelling by taxi is a necessity, and a trip from the hotel to the airport costs in excess of RMB200. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

We live in the city and chose to celebrate our anniversary there. It was super relaxing! It was a great place to spend the weekend.

A model Hotel to stay for business traveling
It is very difficult to get taxi in front of the hotel, the staff should make an arrangement with the taxi company for ordering taxi for the clients. The airport shuttle service is good. Since there are no restaurants, supermarkets for convenience stores around the waling distance of the hotel, the hotel should included breakfast in their room rate. The USB sockets don't have electricity to charge the mobile and notebook, it is a down side. The design of the case which hold the sockets is very dangerous, it is very easy to hurt the fingers, I would suggest the hotel to re-design the whole thing. There is not enough electrical sockets for recharging, it is advised to put more with British standard socket. As a 5 stars hotel, a coffee machine should be placed in the room. The spa is good, but the skin care brand should be upgraded for more international standard. There is not enough international TV channels, I was surprised I couldn't find HBO, DW, Japanese channel etc on the TV. There is no close up mirror for the lady to do makeup in the toilet. I can only use the mirror close to the door entrance but the light will gone off automatically.

Great hotel, far from airport!
Web site says it is 9 miles from the airport. True enough, but the airport it is closest to is abandoned. Closest operating airport is closer to 39 miles. Long ride in and their shuttle is not easy to find.......ended up in a cab.

Woken up by the hot and study air in the morning
The hotel turned off the aircon when the outdoor temperature went down to around 25 centi degree. So, the air became stuffy and warm inside the room and we were woken up three days in a row around 5am due to the room temperature went up to 27 - 28 centi degree! We complained to the manager but we were suggested to open the room window and refused to turn the aircon back on. Believe me, you don't want to open your window in Xi'an, the traffic noise (honks) and the air pollution would keep you awake all night on. The manager and staff were very polite to receive our complaints but the air con just kept shutdown and we suffered for three nights.

Long term stay
I stayed here for a few weeks. The facilities a good the buffet is also quite good. The reason why I kept staying here was the hospitality of the staff. It really really did feel like a home away from home. Thankyou Edu, Michael Matt and all the other lovely staff for taking great interest and care in ensuring my stay was as pleasant as it was. I highly recommend swisstouches hotel.

The hotel and hotel staff are great. I stayed here quite a few times. One problem though, in room dining. The food has been of poor standard. (Cold hamburger and chips) (spaghetti and cold garlic bread) However, The breakfast and dinner served on level one is fantastic.

Nice Hotel but ...
Hotel is decent. food is NOT! Burger is horrible and Chinese food is also not that great. They dont know what COLD Drink means. Room Temperature Beer is cold for them it seems! I was there to watch a WC match at the bar and it is not a high end facility...Will go to Shangrila at that price!

THERE HAVE 2 REASONS THAT I RATED HOTEL STAFF AS 3. AT BREAKFAST, I LEFT MY SEAT TEMPORARY TO GET MORE FOODS THEN WHEN I WAS BACK TO MY SEAT ALL THE REMAINING FOODS AND COFFEE WERE GONE. ITS HAPPEN TWICE WITHIN THE 4 NIGHT STAY. I ASKED A FRONT DOOR STAFF TO GET A TAXI TO AIRPORT, STAFF TOLD ME IT'S COST RMB150 WITHOUT RECEIPT. I WAS OK FOR THAT PRICE BUT ON THE WAY TO AIRPORT THE DRIVER TOLD ME THE STAFF TOOK RMB30 AWAY FROM HIM THAT MADE ME FEEL NOT VERY WELL.

Great Spa... Far from main tourist attractions
Great Buffet Breakfast... Spa pools are very relaxing... nice sauna, gym and pool. Comfy beds. About a 20 minute taxi away from the walled city where you'll find most of the tourist things to do. And despite what the bellmen may tell you - insist on getting cabs who use their meters everywhere you go. They'll try and get you to pay an overpriced flat rate...which did leave a bad taste in my mouth with an otherwise very good stay.

Nice hotel
This is a very nice hotel. Every room has hot spring, you can enjoy hot spring in own room. Other equipments are also good. The only problem is the local isn't convenient.

a beautiful hotel but the tecnology dont work !!! we are seek now for a week beacause the air condi , work only in 18 ° centigrades ... and it s cold. the lamps in the room are automatic and in the night , you go to the bathroom and the ligth turn on .... and stay , you can not cut them (bug informatic) horrible never in this hotel
