Stayed a couple of das as transit for flight home. Great hotel for the price. We found it difficult to find seat down restaurants near by. Most places were take out. We didn't want to eat at the hotel restaurant. The hotel staff was on point and very helpful.

Excellent staff
I stayed for 3 nights.the hotel is excellent. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The room is very comfortable. Bathroom very clean.Breakfast is great with huge variety. Excellent vale for the money

Very helpful hotel staff, lots of eating places just outside the hotel, near Songbai park. Exilent breakfast buffet. 300 kph plus typhoon hit during my stay at the hotel but everything run smoothly.

A pretty nice stay.

Very nice hotel
The hotel is a little bit older and located in a mature neighborhood. The room is clean and the hotel staff are very nice. They provide free shuttle service to and from the airport, which is convenience. The reservation through hotels.com did not include the breakfast but this was not a problem since there is a McDonald's across the street from the hotel.

The hotel staff is very professional and helpful. The hotel building is about 25 years old but well maintained. Very good for the business travel.

The counter staff is a little less friendly but overall hotel is perfect to me. They even have foc transport to the airport.

Lovely hotel - shame about the neighbourhood
We were picked up at the airport. after alerting the hotel in advance, which was wonderful. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, although the bed was a little hard. Plenty of variety for breakfast, including 'western' dishes. Staff were polite and helpful. As we were only staying one night before flying back to the UK there was no time for sightseeing, apart from a brief walk in the roads around the hotel. This was fairly unpleasant, as we were close to a flyover in one direction and in the other there were just a few shops; it was quite dirty and the local people obviously don't see western faces very often, judging by the stares and comments. My advice is to stay in the hotel, and take a taxi to tourist areas.

Greatest Service
Our stay at the JingMin in Xiamen was outstanding. We have traveled to many places but we have never been to a hotel with such incredible service. The hotel staff was knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. They took the extra time to ensure that I was comfortable and happy. The restaurants were very tasty and again the staff was top-notch. There are absolutely no complaints about this hotel and I highly recommend it to anyone!

Xiamen JingMin Central Hotel
I've stayed several times in the JingMin Central hotel. Good location in the center of the island, only about 15 minutes from the Xiamen airport. A bit far if you want to be closer to the coast; maybe a 20 minute taxi ride. The main restaurant offers a fairly extensive buffet for breakfast and dinner including asian and western selections. Staff speaks reasonable english and is happy to assist with various requests including travel arrangements or advice on local points of interest. Note that they are extensively renovating the 3rd floor club, and jackhammering is heard from the lobby up several floors of the hotel from about 8am until 8pm daily. This is expected to take several months to complete.

マネージャーさんが丁寧な日本語で親切に観光の計画と手配をしてくれて助かりました。マッサージやレストランも充実していて、安心で快適でした。コンビニが目の前にある他、大きなショッピングセンターや地下鉄の駅が徒歩10分以内と近くにあり、とても便利でした。朝ごはんも良かったです。

地方靜中带旺，交通都算方便，坐的士到厦門站也只需大約十五分钟。在市內坐的士都算平。附近有麦當奴及super market，大約步行十分钟更有地铁。
