"We stayed for 6 nights & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All staff were very friendly & helpful, comparable to staff at a good Japanese hotel. - Good location - Bright, clean, spacious bedroom, good bedding, quiet air cond - Clean, good-sized bathroom with jacuzzi - Good breakfast - Small gym with basic equipment (cardio & free weights) - Good swimming pool - Nice afternoon tea We would return to this hotel in the future "

"The Reverie looks great initially but on closer inspection is a bit tired. The pool area is showing signs of wear and tear and should really be refurbished. The hotel policy on room access is an excellent example of how to alienate your guests. We arrived on a flight from London and had booked one of the hotel cars to meet us. This got us to the hotel at 7.15am. We were told that check-in was at 2pm but that our room was available if we wanted to pay. The cost was half the nightly rate, and we could access the room from 9am or a full night’s rate if we wanted immediate access. Or we would have access to the room from 12.30 for free. I offered to pay the half nightly rate with immediate access but was told that was not possible and it was hotel policy. I totally appreciate that if you want to guarantee access to your room for an early arrival you need to book and pay for the preceding night. However, being told at check-in that the room is empty and therefore available but only for a significant fee is a poor business policy and suggests a money grabbing approach. I have never experienced this kind of policy before at other hotels in similar circumstances. If the room is available access has been granted. If it is occupied, no problem. "

"Great little hotel right in the heart of District 1\. The room was basic but very clean & functional. The staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful & cheerful! 15 mins walk to the War Remnants Museum, Independence Palace, Central Market, Party Street etc. 10 mins to to Ben Tien Market and even less to some of the best restaurants in the city. Fantastic location and real value for money - I loved it here & will definitely return!"

Having lived in Japan for quite some time, these are more trees than I have ever seen in one place and it was a pretty amazing and unexpected site. Made widely popular in Japan but originating in China as penzai or penning, the art form of Bosai is the growing of a tree in a container and literally means "planted in a container". A Bonsai tree is not a genetically dwarfed plant, any tree species can be used to grow one. The art form does take a fare amount of attention though, with a great deal being put into the care and maintenance. Pruning is the most important aspect of Bosai care and is what allows them to resemble nature as close as possible.
