The sites were right on the bay and there were proper bathrooms with showers (and hot water). They also had a communal kitchen with stoves & a fridge but you had to bring your own pots/pans/plates. They also had couches and a big screen TV (glamping!). This campground cost $15NZD/person/night.

#### Relaxing haven

Going to sleep to the sound of gently lapping waves and waking up to views over a calm and sheltered bay made this bach a relaxing haven to stay in. Even on a stormy night with a power cut the place still felt cosy, sheltered and warm. We loved the quaint, authentic kiwi bach style of this place - even though it wasn’t brand new it was tidy, nicely painted and furnished and had a comfortable bed with lovely fresh linen so felt both homely and clean making it a pleasure to stay in. And although small it was well equipped and set up with most of the kitchen and home essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Worth being aware that there are no laundry facilities available. We knew this and it wasn’t a problem for us for our short stay. But for those staying longer it’s worth knowing. We would recommend to other couples and small groups looking for a quiet spot to relax away from everything. Nothing better than a view like that over water.

A lovely apartment in pole position opposite the beach. Super clean and comfortable. The kids were in heaven having the beach right there.Recommended for families and those wanting to SUP/kayak. The only thing to keep in mind is noise transfer to the Bach above. It was fine for us and our neighbours were v considerate but something to factor in if you are noise sensitive.

When renting the property i focussed on waterfront, thinking that Corpmandel Town had waterfront. After paying I was given the address and found that the property was 15 mins out of town, not convenient for restaurants and cafes. Had I realised I would not have booked that property
