The next one would be ihg in Osaka. The staff is amazingly friendly, room and hotel is new and clean. The hotel is attached to 3 subway lines, it’s close enough to airport with a short taxi ride, and not far from the popular places in hankou. The night view out the window with the Farris wheel was serene, very relaxing place. The breakfast had great selections and lots of local favorites. It also had a nice clean pool. It is probably helpful that it has been open for a few months and a large portion of that time was during the COVID lockdown, so it was not in use. Despite being recently open, everything is running smoothly with the efficiency of a very experienced staff and an obvious focus on guest comfort and enjoyment. The hotel is clean, every single staff member I encountered was attentive and friendly and while I can communicate in Mandarin, most staff could communicate very easily in English with me. The breakfast was good, it's similar to breakfast buffets at other higher end hotels I've been to, lot's of choices and more than adequate, but definitely geared toward Asian guests (very understandably). The restaurant staff was all very friendly and efficient with clearing dishes. The room service I ordered one evening was delicious. Really appreciated the very personal assistance from Roger and JayDu, both had excellent English and went out of their way to help me. I didn't spend time to see the surrounding area and find out what was nearby, but the hotel is very close to subway exits for 宏图大道 station, with subway entrances for all lines very close to the front entrance of the hotel.
