"Everything was clean from the outside to the lobby. The rooms clean and furniture slight worn but decent. The front desk staff very friendly and housekeeping was very attentive of our needs. Finally, breakfast had a lot of variety and was very nutritionist. Something for everyone, my family of four enjoyed our stay. I will recommend this hotel."

"I have used Hotel Ballast exclusively when traveling to Wilmington, NC. I have always had the use of a walk in shower. However, this trip was different. I was placed in room 637 which had a bathtub with the use of a shower. I was not given the option of a room with a walk in shower. Based on ones age and to prevent accidents, rooms should be age appropriate based on guest needs. The room also had an extra door. I could see other guest or employees walking by that door. "
