The property is well maintained and clean. This is a very nice little house with lake access. One of the bedroom was custom built on the patio with view of the lake and is accessible from the patio sliding doors. A paddle boat was provided and we enjoyed a trip on the lake, especially the kids! If you like hikes, Big Thicket National Preserve is a short drive from there. When booking, we had not realized there was no dishwasher in the kitchen, but that was fine for a few days. Everything was provided to make us comfortable during our stay. An easy drive from Houston, spotless ( and super comfy beds!) and loads of attention to detail. We spent our days fishing and swimming and the kids could jump off the dock into the lake. Roasted marshmallows by the fire at night. We’ve stayed at a lot of properties and we were 100% happy with our stay here. We hope to get back again soon!
