"Nice hotel in charming old town."
Excellent for overnight stop or short stay. Charming, comfortable old hotel. Most importantly, well away from main road and so no traffic noise.

"beautiful old coaching inn, in the centre of town."
The inn has a yard for parking, a large and pleasing breakfast room, well run and delicious food, good coffee and nice service. Coffee in the room was awful, and instant. The bathroom spotless, with a good electric shower. Quiet and comfortable with a tiny wall mounted tv. Overall, a good experience, but this is not a town for the budget minded. Other guests we met were pleased with their choice, as were we.

Nice place, good price, great location for my needs. Bathroom was a little tired and could do with an update but it was clean and functional so can't complain too much as I've had much worse bathrooms in very expensive hotels. Food was good, staff polite. Only complain was my room was next to the stairs and the noise of a group of german tourists retiring to their room up the stairs after leaving the bar was very intrusive.

"Authentic bread and breakfast"
The Glove House was a real pleasure. The rooms were relatively large and very comfortable. It was very clean and had all the charm of an authentic English home. The owners were very helpful and nice, and the location was awesome. I recommend this hotel if you want a Bed and Breakfast in Woodstock.

"Very handy for Blenheim, at a reasonable price."
The host was very welcoming and happy to give us any information we needed. He explained that our room was not ideal as it had no window, but it was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The bathroom was clean but in need of a little bit of TLC. We had chosen the inn for its location and were really pleased with the price, so didn't expect luxury. Breakfast was well cooked and very generous. The building is charming. We only needed the room as a place to sleep for one night after a concert at Blenheim and for this it was perfect.

    Woodstock Hotels Guide

Set in beautiful countryside north of Oxford along the River Glyme, Woodstock is an attractive small town and home to Blenheim Palace: the seat of the Dukes of Malborough since the18th century, and one of the finest palaces in England. The old parish church has Norman features, and there are some beautiful old buildings in the town. The literary festival draws throngs of book lovers in September.
