Had health problems while there that didn’t allow me to take the full benefit of what there was to offer, but it was a great place to hole up. Only thing I wished for was a more robust Wi-Fi, as the Verizon cell service was intermittent and the Wi-Fi wasn’t picking up the slack. This became a problem when I had a medical emergency and had to leave early. In fairness, I did not try to reach the property manager til I was leaving and wanted to let them know I was checking out early. Didn’t hear back from them then, though. ##### Jan F. Enjoyed walking from the property to the downtown area of Woodstock. Just a half mile each way, easy even for us at age 72\. Propery had all the "supplies of home" and more so in the bathroom. We had a full house and it was cozy, but doable for close friends. House was well-stocked and beds were comfy. We had one car and being walking distance to town allowed some of us to ski and others to stay without being stranded at home. Sep 2, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Location location location The pictures don't do this two-room cottage justice. Clearly thoughtfully updated by an architect's hand, the main room is spacious, with voluminous high ceilings and beautiful lighting. Furnishings, kitchen appliances, and supplies, as well as bed linens, are all top-notch. But what makes this property especially unique is its location adjacent to the Billings Farm property's fields and abutting the river that flows through Woodstock. Private stairs lead to the river for summertime swims. The walk to the general store is five minutes. To be sure we stayed here for an extended period and although comfortable for two adults, four may be a stretch (two are designated on a foldout and the primary is a queen), if only for the diminutive size of the bathroom, which is located in the bedroom. For a weekend or a week, the location can not be beat! ##### Krystian v.
