Staff extremely helpful at check in. Welcome wine n cheese for quests was a wonderful start too our evening. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms nice but a little small.

The inn and the grounds are beautifully maintained. The room was comfortable, and the restaurant on the premises was convenient but also had a great breakfast, well worth purchasing. The location was also great relative to downtown.

This property is beautiful, peaceful, friendly, welcoming and far enough away from the green for a noiseless stay. The wine, cheese and bites that start your evening are lovely and gives you the opportunity to meet other guests if you choose. Ms. Walton, the host, was friendly, helpful and warm. She made me feel right at home. A magnificent place to stay in Woodstock Vermont

The building is historic. Staying in the King Suite felt like stepping back in time to the Victorian era, with modern amenities. The grounds were gorgeous. I was very pleased with the experience.

We had a lovely 1 night stay at the quaint Jackson. We enjoyed the wine & cheese hour, had dinner at Oakes & Evelyn (on site but not part of the hotel) and enjoyed a nightcap on the porch. The bed was super comfortable, sheets were clean and crisp, robes were Frette and products smelled great. The property is gorgeous and Woodstock as a town is a delight.

I didn’t realize they didn’t have an elevator and we were on the third floor. The steps to the third floor were very steep and my husband’s knee was bad. They don’t have enough parking so again you have to carry your luggage from down the street. I felt for the amount of money I paid, parking would be easier for guests and access to my room would be easier!

The grounds were beautiful. And the check-in process was very easy and efficient. The only two problems we encountered was that our bed was broken and our bathroom sink was clogged. If that gets fixed, whoever comes there should have a very nice day.

Very characterful property a little way out of Woodstock. Friendly staff, good to meet other guests at the complimentary wine and cheese event every evening. Room was small, bed comfortable but if the patio door was open there was a noisy aircon unit a couple of feet away. But the room was hot! So this was not ideal. Beautiful grounds but wouldn’t have wanted to sit outside the room as it was so noisy!

The Hostess at the wine and cheese hour was very kind and helpful. That was the only time we saw anyone! The house is divided into separate areas and we were in the oldest part. The bed was comfortable, bathroom nice, amenities nice but wouldn’t book again because of the very narrow and steep stairs. My husband is 80, hauling luggage up those kind of stairs is dangerous. That would be the only reason not to return.

Very nice place to stay good location nice old home well appointed . They do a cocktail hour from 5 to 6:30 pm with wine and cheese you get to meet other guest . Very friendly and helpful staff

This is a gorgeous little inn. The check in/check out is virtual which felt a bit impersonal, but otherwise everything was good. The room is very cozy as were the common areas. There is coffee, tea, and water in the lobby at all times, and there is often a fire going as well. The porch is full of rocking chairs and there is a nice seating area next to a brook in the back yard. Also free wine and cheese each evening for guests!

A beautiful property! Loved wine and cheese hour! Felt like I was in a Gilmore Girls episode. Unfortunately I experienced some issues…My room was missing a fire alarm, the bathtub/ jacuzzi tub was not working, and the television would not work. I also had some trouble with the lock code process on the door. It felt a bit unsafe that the main building I was in was kept unlocked due to keypads on the doors. service from the restaurant would be a great addition!

I will stay again the next time I’m up in the Woodstock area. Excellent staff, well maintained, excellent restaurant. Nice grounds. Fire pit. Parking is challenging if you don’t want to park across the street.
