"We didn’t stay. We when arrived, instead of a room in the guest house, we were expected to stay in a tentlike structure. In addition, the bathroom facilities were outdoor showers and commodes that required a climb up a set of stairs. Luckily we were able to secure a room at another facility. The owner supposedly requested a refund for me but I haven’t heard whether this has been approved."

"Thirteen nights of sleeping with our coats because there was no heat. Hours waiting for repair men; invading our vacation time. Showering in cold water due to lack of heating oil. House sits on a well and our hand turned orange from the lack of maintenance. Water smelled of sulfur so we had to buy many bottles of water during our stay. We had to ask for hand towels, because initially, there were none. On the whole it was the worst experience we have had through a VRBO vacation. At least we got...
