The front desk man was super professional and kind. I had my phone stolen earlier that day so I didnt check into the hotel until 2am. He let me check out at 1pm and check-in was super quick and easy. Beds were comfy and room was clean, decent for the price I paid. Parking was right out front in a parking lot. McDonald's across the street and gas station next door. I will say that unfortunately the walls are paper thin

It was what I expected from an @ $80/night room. It didn't look exactly like the pictures online in my opinion, but our room was clean, the walls were freshly painted, there was a television, mini fridge, microwave, & single cup coffee pot. There was cold cereal, instant oatmeal, toast, coffee, & juice for breakfast. There is a nice selection of food & entertainment within walking distance. The front-desk attendant who checked us in & out was friendly. I would stay here again.

For the money it was okay. The hotel was old and run down, but it was 200 a night cheaper than any other hotel around. Low water pressure in the shower. I saw no bugs and stayed 4 nights. The breakfast was the very small and only had cereal and toast. Coffee always available.

The surroundings not clean, the washing basin had very low pressure of water, the WiFi is very weak door on the bathroom had finger prints, no mirror for dressing, the breakfast area are small and made it difficult for family to be around each other.

Building itself looked like it was falling apart and is unsafe. Walls and stairs are deteriorated. Rooms were also outdated and had many cracks around the walls. Several roaches were spotting inside the room and rats outside the building.

There are two elevators, neither one was operational when we arrived: we were on the third floor. This was not ideal given we had driven 14 hours to get there and had to haul everything upstairs. The breakfast was disappointing: two cereal options, juice, and bread. There was coffee at least. Others have remarked about the building needing updates. This is very true. It was not visually pleasing, but it was somewhere to sleep, shower, and change clothes before spending the day in DC. The neighborhood was a bit questionable, but we never felt in danger. The air conditioner did not work well and the room was never cooler than 70 degrees. When we first arrived, the staff had left the heat blasting and it was 90 degrees when we first arrived. We had to leave the door open to cool it off. We did see roaches three times. The most disturbing was my son waking up to one crawling on him during the night. One in the shower and one near the door. Overall, it wasn’t horrible, it just wasn’t great. For $90 per night after fees, the proximity to DC, it was fine and met our basic needs.

Saw the pictures here in Expedia and booked without much thought. Worst mistake ever. This places is one of best places Ive been ever. The night lasted 30 minutes l(That’s how much time it took me to book another hotel) staff was ok!

It's definitely a motel, and an old one at that. The rooms are nicer than expected and clean for the most part. But there were definitely a number of bugs in our room and the curtains were rather dingy and had a hard time closing them. You can tell it's a really old building. The guy that checked us in was really nice though and hard to beat the price...

Check in was alright. I was asked if I minded being on the 2nd floor, I said it was fine. Was then given a room on the 1st floor at the back of the property. There were greasy finger prints all over the headboard and a box of toothpaste under the heating unit. Didn't feel safe in that room and the room looked dingy. Went back to the front desk and requested a change of room. Was then given a room on the 2nd floor. Room was alright but the window sounds like its about to fall in. The walls are VERY thin and the people in the next room have a very loud speaker that played for a few hours.

Room #227 Hot water faucet was loose. when you tried to turn it on, the who handle and base would rotate. Room window faces the road and the 7 Eleven across the road. Crazy woman was screaming outside at night. Public transportation would park their buses beside the window to go across the road to McDonalds. Would hear the air brakes blowing and diesel engines running at night.

The front desk personnel upon check-in stated there was someone there 24 hrs. It is not a 24 hour front desk, the door is locked after a certain time, and no one answers the phone. Don’t lose your keys or lock your self out of your room, as it will be too bad for you until Daywork personnel come in.

The location was wonderful, easy to get to plenty of places to eat in walking distance. The employees were kind, and helpful. The room was not very clean. There were a few bugs that I killed on the walls. Our room neighbor was smoking all day. The hotels staff offered to move us to a difference room but we checked out early.

The room was dirty with some areas of it obviously not cleaned prior, towels did not look clean, walls had a lot of holes, one of the outlets had some metal wire sticking out of it, the bathtub sounded like it was going to go through the floor when you were in it, and there was no outlet by the bed to charge our things so they had to sit across the room.

Room smelled heavily of cigarettes. So hard to get a truly non-smoking room. I spent a few days feeling sick after this visit, I'm that sensitive to cigarette smoke. I would stay at Days Inn again, but perhaps call the hotel directly to hopefully ensure a better breathing experience.

My stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The shampoo dispenser was not filled. But overall the experience was very nice. I also had a clean microwave and fridge to use. The breakfast choices were great and always filled up. The hotel shuttle was efficient.
