Perfect place to be
We were the first time in PEI and loved this place to stay. The cottage really has everything you need and Darryl is an awesome host. If we ever come back to PEI, it will be definitely here again.

Located in Wood Islands, this cottage is in a rural location and on the beach. Orwell Corner Historic Village and Sir Andrew Macphail Homestead are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Wood Islands Visitor Information Centre and Wood Islands Lighthouse.
This is a lovely place to stay on PEI. It is less than 5 minutes to the ferry back to Nova Scotia. The property is beach front and that is shared by 2 other cottages. There are lounge chairs and a hammock on the beach, so it is comfortable to spend time relaxing there and the water is warm enough to swim in. Now for the cottage. It is casually, yet beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed to make meals, including spices, flour, oil, etc. There is a fireplace in the main room for chilly evenings. Lots of towels, beach towels, blankets, etc. Everything needed for a comfortable stay. We met Darryl when we checked in and he was available to give advice about that area of PEI. He is the perfect host! We would love to return to this place.
