« I stayed for a night on 4 July 26 with my sister and we had a lovely time, the hotel was cosy and the staff welcoming. We had a double en-suite room each and the rooms were cosy and well decorated and furnished. The bathrooms were modern and the showers were great. The beds were so comfy, we slept so well. Breakfast was great and they made me vegetarian sausages. The staff were wonderful. We will be returning . It was great value for money too. »

« The room look like a building site. Plasterwork cracked paint work flacky. Bathroom there was little room betwheen the toilet and shower.yesterday morning after the toilet l found thè mess coming up the shower drain.l will not be staying there again. »

« The room, bathroom and towels were spotless. Breakfast was beautiful. Great choices and very polite, pleasant staff. Music was playing in the breakfast room and whilst most of the songs were pleasant, some were a bit much and too loud for first thing in the morning. We would definitely return however. A very pleasant mini break. The hotel is central to everything with wonderful walks into Scarborough. »

« Sadly, this was a bad experience. I booked via Expedia where the hotel was advertising a Michelin trained chef and a restaurant. I travelled solo 145 miles for a two night break purely because of this. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn the restaurant closed last year. I expressed this disappointment in very civil tones, explaining this was the only reason for my visit. I asked the owner Stacie if I could therefore cancel my second night and obtain a partial refund for it. Stacie agreed...

« This was such a lovely place to stay. We had a room in the annex. We could hear other people come and go and talking in another room, but quiet other than that. The pub was very nice. »

« Would thoroughly recommend this Hotel, I visit and stay in Scarborough every 3 weeks but this is the first time I’ve used this hotel but it won’t be my last. Spotlessly clean and beautifully presented , staff are welcoming and helpful. It’s position just above the spa gives wonderful views and it’s a very short stroll into the town and beaches. »

« Such a lovely traditional pub with good accommodation, situated in a pretty rural setting, a short drive away from Pickering. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. My husband and I had an evening meal in the pub which was excellent, as was breakfast the following morning. Pet friendly. Would definitely recommend the Horseshoe Inn. »

Staff were friendly. It was a good location for the town. Meals available, we did not use the these facilities, so carn't comment. We would stay here again. »
