The Space:
Little Oakey by Tiny Away is in Withcott at the base of the Toowoomba Range. This farm stay features a flat, grassy area the size of a small soccer field, bordered by a seasonal creek and rich birdlife, offering a peaceful, nature-filled escape.
If you're traveling from Brisbane via the Warrego Highway (A2), it's a smooth drive of just 1 hour and 48 minutes. Toowoomba City is only 12 minutes away, offering easy access to shops, cafés, and restaurants. The property is also close to Jubilee Park, Table Top Mountain, and Picnic Point Lookout.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with a plush queen-sized bed, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a queen-sized bed, a kitchenette, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.
OFF-GRID NOTICE: Guests are asked to conserve tank water and electricity, bring portable power banks, and charge devices in advance to ensure comfort during low power or cloudy days.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home. Please avoid opening any gates and stay within the maintained (mowed) areas, creek flats, and along the creek.
The Neighborhood:
Little Oakey by Tiny Away is located in Withcott at the base of the Toowoomba Range, just 1 hour and 48 minutes from Brisbane via the Warrego Hwy and 12 minutes from Toowoomba City. The local YMCA is just 4 minutes away and open 7 days a week, and Withcott Bakery (“Greedies”) is nearby for delicious pies. Beyond these local conveniences, the area is also a hub for outdoor adventure and scenic beauty.
Guests have direct access to world-class mountain bike trails leading to Jubilee Park, the proposed venue for the 2032 Olympic mountain biking events. Just a short drive away, Table Top Mountain offers a scenic hike with panoramic views of the Lockyer Valley.
In September, the region comes alive with the colourful Carnival of Flowers, while Picnic Point Lookout in Rangeville offers breathtaking views, perfect for picnics and photography.
Getting Around:
By car:
- 1.5 hours from Brisbane. 2 hours from Gold Coast. 10 minutes from Toowoomba.
By public transport:
- Taxi is the only means of public transport until you reach Toowoomba where guests can access all modes of transport.

- Pets are allowed by 24 hrs prior notice, and must be on leash at all times. The full policy will be sent before arrival.
Important note:
- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas
- NOTICE: The cassette toilet needs cleaning and refilling every 2–3 days. For stays over 2 nights, please check the fill level and contact us if it needs servicing. A cleaning fee applies to stays of 5 nights or more.
