The exterior of the building is a bit dated, but don’t let that stop you from staying at White Rose Inn! The interior of the room was cleaner than any other hotel I’ve stayed at in recent history, and the facilities all worked perfectly. Just a short 5 minute walk from the river and from the downtown. Both the check-in and check-out processes were straightforward.

We loved how the rooms are all different. You are right off the river. Beautiful views. The breakfast in the mornings was delicious and the staff was so nice and helpful

White rose was okay, had an issue with my room the manager took care of it right away. So that was a plus for me. Just wish the staff was easier to get a hold of called mulitple times before my arrival and when the situation happened(shower handle fell of) they fixed it asap! Had to legit go to the office.

I did not realize i had booked into a motel, i thought i had booked into an inn. No closet or Kleenex or volume control for TV. Beds were comfy, i slept well and the pub across the street was an asset, but overpriced for off season

Amazing find just a block from Main Street.
This place was amazing for the price!! The property consisted of a motel with a few carriage houses behind. Book the carriage house!! Super cute, private, very comfortable and spacious. Very inexpensive and also conveniently located downtown. This area has a lot of old run-down motels, but White Rose is a star among them. Full breakfast buffet too. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in The Stable room. The location was great; nice view of the river with the river walk right in front of the Inn. Another review said their king-sized bed was just 2 twins moved together. Ours was a true king and comfortable. The room was large and pretty comfortable but definitely in need of upgrades. The furniture was quite worn and a detailed overall cleaning of the room, now that busy season is over, would be good. The bedspread needed to be washed. A couple of suggestions: another towel bar (or even some hooks) in the bathroom, especially by the sink, would be welcome. There is only 1 small bar. And, since the room has a table, chairs, microwave and refrigerator, maybe a few paper plates and napkins. Overall an OK stay; we would stay again mainly because of the location

We loved our short stay at the White Rose Inn. The front desk gentleman was so friendly and helpful! The room was lovely, and the view of the river was enjoyable! To cap off our stay, the breakfast was wonderful!

My four day visit and retreat from life on the honeymoon to the White Rose Inn proved worth while. The old fashioned buildings looked well maintained and clean. AC, Wifi, Tv, Water works and the comfort was every much appreciated and worked just as intended. 5 minute walk to Broadway where all the stores are and just across the street, the River Walk. Attractions are near by and some a short driving distance. Breakfast is appreciated every morning at our stay. The old fashion buildings are well kept up and service is charming. Price per night wasn't bad at all. Above everything, Nothing but positivity frome this Inn. Were Greatful for the Memories.

Very nice, clean, and convenient. Couldn't figure out how to work the TV however. Could hear the band at River Walk when trying to sleep, and we were in the farthest room from there. (room # 1) Excellent breakfast buffet!

The room did have a hot tub, but little else. Hot tub, queen bed, 2 small chairs and small sink, the suit cases had to go on floor, and there was very little floor space. The pictures are VERY DECEIVING. On the plus, it is walkable to Downtown, bars, food and souvenirs.

First off, they lied to us about the size of the mattress. It was supposed to be a king, but they just put together 2 twins, and covered it with a top sheet. If you laid in the middle of the bed, you sunk into the crack between the 2 twin beds. 2nd, the pictures are deceiving for the exterior. It looks like a cute hotel, but when you pull up it looks really sketchy and really run down… and definitely not like the place in the pics. The exterior REALLY needs work… when we checked in, no one was at the desk. We rang the bell multiple times and we called the phone numbers listed on the door and there was no answer. We had to wait at least 15 minutes and finally someone finally came to check us in. The room itself is really nice. It seems well maintained, and its very clean and updated. The breakfast place is amazing.

I think this place is underrated. We stayed in the Sherman house as a last minute option while property hunting in Wisconsin. Yes, it's an older home but full of character. Employees were very friendly. The room was clean and nicely decorated and the breakfast was good. Loved the river view from our room and the natural sunlight was great. We didn't get to enjoy the other amenities but we'd definitely return when in the area.

Poor Cleanliness but easy access to downtown
I'll start with the positives, great location, easy access to downtown and Riverwalk, free breakfast though bland, nice garden and patio area. Did not check out the pool. The terrible, large and numerous mosquitoes in the room, the carpet was filthy, our feet were black from walking on the carpet barefoot. It needed a dehumidifier terribly. Everything felt wet, bed linens, paper, our clothes. Needs major updating and renovation/remodeling. But its cheap and thankfully we mostly were there to sleep and shower. But that was long enough time in the room.

We stayed in the Venetian Room which was comfortable and cool with 2 window air conditioner units. I choose it for the "vintage decor" and separate sleeping / dressing areas. It was a cute room and we liked the decor that made it different than your typical motel room. Nice modern tub/shower combo in dressing area. It was quiet and peaceful stay, we felt like we had the house to ourselves. There was full sized (shared) refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker and sink available to use in the "kitchen" area of the house. Not in the room, but it was nice, clean setup and had a small table there as well. Breakfast was okay - waffles, bread/toast, kids cereal, scrambled eggs and bacon/sausage, coffee, juice. No fruit or yogurt offered while we were there which was a bit disappointing. The pool was clean and seemed to be heated, the water was warm and felt great. The buildings and grounds are overgrown and run-down, but they seem to be working on that. The inside is nice, so don't let it discourage you. There was no view from our room, but outside you could see park and river. Lots of parking and close to the downtown, walkable to RiverWalk and downtown area. Good experience overall and we would stay here again.

Rooms in the motel were not clean. Visible dirt on flooring and moldy showers. Even running the AC the rooms were damp and humid. Exterior on all the buildings was falling apart. Breakfast was decent and staff was friendly.Good location near downtown. Nice pool. I would stay at the motel again.
