Welcome to The Aspen Lodge! We are located in Winter Park, Colorado. Within minutes from your doorstep you can enjoy year round outdoor activities including world-class snow skiing and snowboarding, cross-county skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, fishing and miles of amazing trails for you and your guests to explore. Downtown is within walking or biking distance! Please check all house rules to avoid penalties. Nightly minimums may apply. Luxurious mountain retreat with 7 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, 8,259 square feet. Our home sleeps 19 guests! The main level includes a large gourmet kitchen, living room with ample seating, views, and fireplace, dining room, and game room with pool and shuffleboard table, perfect for a group to spend an unforgettable time together. On our upstairs level you will find our master bedroom with king bed and 5 piece en-suite bath. We also have a loft area with sleeper sofa on this level. Our basement level features 3 king bedrooms with en-suite bathroom (one of our king bedrooms on this level also has a queen size sleeper sofa in the room). A queen bedroom and bunk room with 2 sets of queen over queen beds and shared hall bath. We also have a family room with large sectional sofa, TV, and 2 sets of queen over queen bunks in this room! Additionally our home offers a full apartment over the garage complete with kitchen, living area, queen bedroom, full bathroom, and queen size sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully stocked with high-end appliances such as a gas cooktop, dual ovens, and an over-sized refrigerator and freezer. We have all the amenities you need to cook large meals for your group as well as plenty of dishes and utensils. We have included high quality pots and pans as well as additional small appliances that you would not normally have available in a rental home such as double crockpots, a rice cooker, Keurig, and S’more maker. Creating a huge meal like a Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings is not a problem at our home! General Amenities: We provide bath towels as well as extra towels for the hot tub. We also provide a starting supply of necessities -toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, and trash bags. You may even have enough for your entire stay! All Winter Park House properties come stocked with a basic starter package of paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissue, hand/body soap, conditioning shampoo, dish soap, sponge and dishwasher detergent (this is a 3-4 night supply, guests may purchase additional products locally). Each home is equipped with high-end bed linens and towels. Kitchens are stocked with a coffee maker(Keurig and standard), cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils and small appliances(griddle, crock pot, blender, food processor, rice cooker and waffle maker). We also have a large capacity washer and dryer for your use. Get ready to make some wonderful memories here in Winter Park and at our beautiful mountain home! House Rules: 1.) Quiet time hours are 9pm to 7am. No outdoor noise or sound coming from indoors that can be heard outdoors is permitted during these hours (ie; loud music, any noise that can be heard outside coming from indoors. No one is to be outdoors and no hot tub use is permitted during these hours.). Any noise violations will result in a fine up to $3000.00 and possible eviction. 2.) No events of any kind permitted at anytime. Violations will result in immediate eviction and $1500 fine. 3.) No outdoor fires are permitted at anytime. 4.) We do require 2 phone numbers you can be reached at during your stay. 5.) No more than 8 vehicles total at our home. No on-street parking allowed at anytime. Our HOA does fine and tow and you will be responsible for any fine incurred. 6.) No smoking- All of our rentals are non-smoking. By signing this contract, you are stating that you will not smoke in our vacation rentals. You will lose your deposit if evidence of smoke is found once you check out. 7.) You and your guest are using our home at your own risk. We nor the owner of the property will be held responsible for any injuries that occur at the vacation rental or for any lost or stolen items. 8.) No boats or trailers are to be parked at our rental properties. Any fines from the home owner association, as a result of this broken rule, will be charged to the refundable deposit. 9.) No pets allowed in our home at anytime. \*\*Due to severe owner allergies, guests traveling with service animals are kindly requested to choose another property. Important to note- We do use NoiseAware to monitor guests noise levels while in our home. We also do have an outdoor camera in the yard. We do have very strict HOA policies that require guests to be indoors by 9pm (no hot tub or patio use) and no indoor noise that can be heard outside is permitted from 9pm-7am. $1500 fine does apply for violations. We also do require a signed rental agreement and $2000 security deposit. Please check on dates, even if booked. We have 12 other homes in the same neighborhood! NIGHTLY MINIMUMS (shorter times are considered as we get closer to the dates) During times not listed below: 2-night minimum, but 1 night stay can be considered if it is midweek or next to another booking. The kitchen was well stocked and had so much space, it made it super easy to cook and entertain. The rooms were spacious and quiet and the whole group found places to set up and write for the weekend. We enjoyed the massive spaces, big kitchen island for meal prep, varied bedrooms as well as the outdoor patio seating area and hot tub. We enjoyed playing games at the large table and the pool table and shuffleboard tables a great hit when we were not outside playing in the Colorado mountain air. We rated this VRBO as excellent however the cleaning was sub par. I believe our bedroom was missed by the cleaning crew due to coffee stains on the bedside table ( we don’t drink coffee). Maybe because of the Fourth of July weekend? No mattress cover.. imagine sleeping on a mattress only with a thin sheet. The property manager did bring a mattress cover the next night and apologized. Some improvements to be made. This ice machine didn’t work and that drawer, the freezer was dirty. The cover to the hot tub was broken and we informed the property manager and apparently he was aware of this. Dusty shelves in the main area… The bar was set high. There were many signs around the house to take care of this property and be respectful but we felt for the cost of this rental, we were disappointed about the cleanliness. The other bedrooms were great but I believe ours was missed… Overall, we enjoyed being together. We participated in the Winterpark activity center, went rafting and mountain biking. Loved the area, the foxes and quiet neighborhood and did respect the 9 pm curfew! ##### Thomas F. The rental was a perfect size for our family of 17\. The place is amazing and although situated on a ski area, we had so many activities afforded to us in the Summer. Horseback riding, MTN. biking, hiking, white water rafting, golf, fishing and lastly we attended a concert at Red Rocks. The whole house is beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture and beds.The views from the rooms and outside patio were stunning. A fox came to visit a few times. There are nearby walking trails. Downtown Winter Park was 5 minutes away. The kids enjoyed the alpine slide. We took day trips to Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. Lots of comfortable bedrooms with beds to spare. The kitchen was a great hang out space. Two large dining tables for eating and games for our large group. We had fun playing shuffleboard and pool. Considering how big our family is that was what really stood out. Plenty of space to spread out, nice to have a pool table and shuffle board for entertaining. We stayed with a large group and the house worked well for us overall. There are a few improvements that could be made, the dishwasher was very slow and cleaning supplies (trash bags, dishwasher pods, sponge, TP, towels) could be supplemented as we had to buy additional supplies quickly after arriving. The house also had more wear and tear than expected. All minor issues overall, but not exactly what we expected based on the cost of the rental and compared to other properties we have rented of similar size and cost. Overall a good experience. It was big enough for our family of 18\. We ate all our meals in the house so can't say enough about the well-stocked kitchen, enough beds and bedrooms for everyone and places to go to get away from the craziness of a family of 18\. God provided is the opportunity after 10 months of planning. Since we saw the house became in love . The owner was really responsive during booking. It exceed all our expectations. Bed were comfortable. Everything was cleaned. Full equipped kitchen. All the property is has you see in the pictures. The view was breathtaking. The house has its only touch it provides the perfect ambience for families to create memorable moments. It was the first time of 6 families on winter vacation. The location it’s a few minutes from Winter Park that it provides you the opportunity to make different activities. We went snow tubbing at Winter Park and snow mobile at Colorado Grand Adventure witch it was our favorite activity. So many options to eat near the home. The area is beautiful just like a movie. We had dinner at Hernandos and Pepi’s Restaurant . We would definitely return and totally recommend you the home to create unforgettable moments with your loved ones.
