This place was disgusting. No AC as it was broken . I had not even checked in when I was hearing other guests complains but they refused my cancellation request even though I had booked only about 30min prior. Expedia was of no help either . I spoke to hotel staff and they said Expedia had to request the cancellation therefore I reach out to Expedia several times and all they said was they couldn’t reach the hotel reception meanwhile everytime I called the front desk they answer almost immediately. Expedia said they were put on long hold and they couldn’t hold that long. So in a nutshell Econo lodge was horrible but the experience with Expedia was even worse.

Our room was bad. The floors were never cleaned. Vinyl wood floor was chipped, my daughter almost cut herself when walking around barefoot. curtains were ripped and bed super itchy, cigarette burns on the coffee tables and no much for cleaning and smell. Pool was so sketchy as well.

Do not stay here. The place may have been nice years ago but it's a trashy motel now. They charge a resort fee for the so called amenities, but the hot tub is out of order, the pool is green and slimy, and they wouldn't allow us to eat breakfast because they said it was not included even though they list it on Expedia. The motel needs so much work and there's a lot of dust and dirt in the room. The lady at the counter was so unfriendly and wouldn't even say anything, just grunt at check-in and when we told her there weren't enough towels in the room. Stay some where else.

When we checked in our room had a bees nest and I am allergic to bees. So we were moved to another room that was dirty and rusted fixtures throughout the room. Then I had to kill a German cockroach that was on one of the beds. My child was traumatized by all the bugs that it was hard for me to get them to sleep. Also, the floors in the second room were so slimy that we had to keep our shoes on. I asked for the room to be re-mopped and it was with dirty water that made the room smell bad and the floor was still slimy. As for the grounds, it was overgrown and the pool lights did not work. Also, the hotel description on Expedia said that it had a hot tub, which is not true and the only reason I chose this hotel. All around a very disappointing stay, that I left one day early.

1. Floor on the inside of room had a puddle of water.
2. The TV didn't work and could not be fixed.
3. The microwave didn't work.

It was too late to go elsewhere so we spent the night.

No hot water after 5 minutes. Toilet sounded like a train went by. Bathroom door was busted. Toilet gushed water from pipes after flushing. No continental breakfast. For the price I paid it was horrible. I have stayed at many choice hotels and I still can’t believe this was a choice hotel. Someone should be ashamed to call this a choice brand.

The front desk staff was disrespectful, she seemed to be mad for having us there, didn’t provide with a receipt of the payment, when I asked for it she got mad. The room was not clean, the toilet didn’t flush well so it got clot , they didn’t come until the following date when I was actively checking out. Horrible, will definitely never come back.

The front desk clerk didn’t know where the room was located, the renovations and empty units around the in use rooms were creepy.
Inside the room there was dirt in the sink, hair on the sheets, unpainted walls, drafty front door and a general atmosphere of uncleanliness. The hotel just looks rundown and grubby on the inside.

Please reconsider this listing. I would have rather pay a little more for something that feels safe. You can hear everything over the walls and see everything through the windows ( the curtains were broken)
This hotel definitely needs an update and doesn’t feel safe. The shower was dirty or old ? Very weird.

My week stay at the Econo Lodge Hotel
The staff were awesome! They were very helpful and very friendly! The hotel itself was out of date on everything and wasn’t very clean. It needs to be painted and somethings needs to be replaced. My family and I stayed there many years ago and it was the happening place to be, but now its only purpose is to get you some sleep! The hotel is in walking distance to a lot of restaurants and stores so that was a great thing! Also, you are right next to Lego-land if you have kids. Otherwise my stay was just okay.

Just a place to sleep
Older lodging but had no bugs or issues and put me within 10 min walking of LegoLand win-for us!
