The property was very unique - located in a refurbished grainery right near downtown. It was quiet with easy, secure parking. The high ceilings and oversized windows made the unit feel light and airy - it was VERY clean. Clearly quite a lot of thought was put into how to appoint the unit - it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host (Matt) was friendly and helpful - he even took a personal interest in trying to help me find an umbrella that I managed to leave somewhere in Winona. The unit is an easy walk to a grocery store, a beautiful walk where you can take in views of Sugarloaf, downtown shopping and a handful of great places to eat. The transformation of a historic business building into mixed-use residential has been thoughtfully done. Our ADA apartment was very nicely designed and furnished. Winona is a very charming river town right on the mighty Mississippi. We enjoyed the Maritime art museum and the many old mansions. Plan on bringing your own ice, coffee, etc. as it is not provided.
