We booked this motel because we had a wedding to attend at the Roma Club - Was kind of spooky being put right at the back where no other rooms were rented. When I made the reservation I was told that I got the last king room but the motel didn't seem to be even 1/2 full. When we got the heat to work, it's obvious some filters need changing - it smelled bad and my husband and I coughed for most of the night....terrible sleep and left around 7am the next morning. Office was closed so we left the keys in the room. I was disappointed based on the reviews that I had read before I reserved the room - Would not stay there again for sure.

This property is very clean, the rooms are perfect size. The staff here are amazing. The only thing i wish they had here was a restaurant to dine in!

Everything about this little hotel is proof positive the owner is concerned about the quality of their guest's stay. Every detail from neatly trimmed outdoor shrubs to clean swept concrete to nicely painted railings outside to squeeky clean bathroom and fresh interiors is top notch.

The location was great. We stayed three nights at a very reasonable price. The room was clean. If I had an issue it would have been to add a safety bar to the bathtub/shower and have a floor mat. It was very slippery.

Day 1 was nice - Day 2 was insect ridden
Read good things about the hotel. Our initial day was fine, but Day 2 revealed some ugly nasties. Whether is was as a result of the heat outside, or badly sealed doorways, we had bugs all throughout the room on Day 3. Ants, larva..you name it. They were crawling on the floor and we found ear wigs all over the mattress covers. Had we been staying another day, we would have had to switch hotels. Very unfortunate on an otherwise decent stay.

For a motel, it had more than the usual facilities and was very clean. The only downside was that my room was right by the lobby and the blinds were not sufficient to cut out the light from outside the lobby, so it was too bright inside the room for sleeping well.

Travellers beware
They charged my credit $200 deposit that was only supposed to go through on the conditions that there was an issue with the way we left the room. No problems with thee room but it will take 2 weeks to have the $200 reversed. The bed was broken. It rocked and banged the floor every time you moved around. The shower flooded the bathroom floor. Poor design on the shower flooring. I had to use all my towels to clean it up and i was worried id slip and smash my head on the wet tile floors. No way i could blow dry my hair standing in an inch of water !!

On a solo bicycle tour, I arrived on a rainy evening. The desk gentlemen called to inquire about my arrival time and was on site, waiting and prepared when I did arrive. Check in was simple and comprehensive. The room met my needs perfectly. I am completely satisfied with the accomodations and price

The room was very small, but fabulous in every other way - decor, provisions (coffee, etc), microwave, fridge, clean. I couldn't figure out the TV control, but my giving Wigle's a medium approval is because I think the receptionist scanned my drivers license. I wouldn't have minded if he visually checked to see if the photo was me and the address was correct, but with identity theft a big problem now, having him electronically scan my license makes me uncomfortable. Otherwise, a top notch experience. Thanks.

I booked this room for a weekend event that brings hundred if not thousand to the town. The room was very clean, the service was great and even though they were fully book things were relatively quiet. My only hiccup and why i gave 4 stars for staff is that while most people left Sunday we chose to stay till Monday, and just after check-out time there was a knock on the door for house keeping and before I could answer they opened the door. Since my husband was still sleeping and i was reading in bed this just made me uncomfortable.

Property was dark. There were no lights working. We had to use our cell phone which did not have international on it at that time to call to let us somebody come and let us in our room waited 15 minutes because they had someone running back-and-forth between two motels .

Great value for the price. Location was walking distance from where I needed to be in the town centre. Very happy with the motel overall. Should be noted that walls are thin enough that you can hear when neighbours are having an enthusiastically good time in their bed late at night - but turning on air conditioning or other white noise should compensate for it.

The room was clean and mostly comfortable. The windows, although they have blinds need a curtain or black out shades as the lights from the ceiling outside shine bright into the room. My television did not work. Perfectly located for everything wonderful about Leamington! Housekeeping staff was friendly.

The front desk clerk was an amazing help as I had some credit card struggles with their machine at check-in. They should consider replacing the machine if it continues to act up. The room was clean but the bed was not very comfortable. I wish the sheets were softer but it got the job done. Overall: a good experience not a great one.

The property was clean and well kept, close to many amenities and restaurants - both walking and driving. The room was clean, updated - housekeeping came part way through our stay and briefly cleaned the room, provided fresh towels. The toilet was finicky to flush and only basic cable available, but other than that absolutely no complaints. Nice seating area outside of each room. Staff was all very pleasant. Overall a fantastic stay and definitely worth it!!!

We had to wait 45 minutes for someone to show up at the office to check us in. They upgraded our room to a king size bed which we were grateful but there was sand and hair on the fitted sheet which was quite unpleasant.

Great little motel … nice modern room … staff was very helpful with ice and small TV issue … good location if you’re going to the national park or the ferry to Pelee island … very reasonable rate
