Not only was there the charge for the room and taxes, etc. But when we arrived they withdrew a large sum from my account just in case they needed it. More than what the room cost including taxes and service fees!! They say they give the money back when you leave but it can take 3 to 5 days for it to show up on your account. So, you have to watch them to make sure they give it back. It is an old building, everyone seems to be working hard to keep it clean, but it needs some updating. The parking area is crazy small with skinny up and down areas to find parking. Parking area best suited for Yugo or smaller. Only 2 disability parking areas for the whole building. The advertising said breakfast included but the breakfast is only served until 9:30am on weekdays and 10 on weekends. Too early for us on vacation.

Dear Michelle, Thank you for writing a review and your feedback is very important to us. We apologize that you didn't have a good experience. The extra money we hold is a security deposit for damages which every hotel is standard. Yes it takes 3-5 business days depending on your credit card. Our parking lot holds 160 parking spaces and it can be tight but we do have the advantage of free parking downtown in which is a savings of 17 per day. Our breakfast room is complimentary and we do apologize for you not getting a chance to try our breakfast. If you do decide to come back please let the front desk know you would like a late breakfast maybe we can put a continental care packaqe for you on the side. We hope you would give us another opportunity in the near future.

Appreciated the free parking, but the parking lot is tight especially if you drive a truck. Minor inconvenience. Overall the hotel was very clean, and service was good. Will stay there again.

Hot breakfast. Very close to a Wyandotte crosstown bus shelter - straight shot to both the university and the train station. Ten minute walk to downtown core and very close to the riverside. However, the immediate area surrounding the property is sketchy.

Complimentary breakfast: good start to the day. Includes juices, tea, coffee, bagels, toast, scrambled and boiled eggs, sausage/bacon, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt.... Staff: friendly - especially all the ladies working the breakfast room Clean hotel. Beds are not the most comfortable and don't give good back support. Noise travels, so often difficult to sleep. Lots of parking and property grounds are clean. Just not located in the 'nicest' area. But convenient if you need to be downtown. Steps from the Windsor-Detroit tunnel and lots of restaurants. About 10 min drive to University of Windsor, shopping malls etc.
