Rosemount is a spacious self-catering holiday home in the heart of Windermere, offering flexible 3- or 8-bedroom options for up to 16 guests. This impressive group accommodation features en-suite king bedrooms, a cosy lounge, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private garden with a hot tub and BBQ. With parking for four cars, it's the perfect base for exploring the Lake District and nearby pubs, making it an ideal Cumbrian family holiday.  
  
The Space:  
Located in the heart of the iconic Lake District town of Windermere, Rosemount is a beautifully appointed three-bedroom Victorian townhouse, perfect for a luxury family holiday or a group getaway of up to six guests.  
  
Each of the three first-floor bedrooms is a comfortable retreat, featuring a king-size bed and a private en-suite bathroom. Downstairs, the open-plan living space invites relaxation with generous sofas, a crackling wood-burning stove, and a large Smart TV. The dining area, with its floor-to-ceiling glass doors, opens onto the rear garden for seamless indoor-outdoor living.  
  
This perfect self-catering holiday home includes a fully equipped kitchen and a convenient utility room. A shared family bathroom on the ground floor boasts a luxurious Villeroy and Boch bath.  
  
Step outside to your private garden, complete with a barbecue, picnic tables, and a newly installed hot tub—the ideal way to unwind after a day exploring the Lakes. With off-road parking for up to four vehicles, Rosemount is the perfect base for your next Cumbrian escape.  
  
Central Windermere is a hub of activity. Start your morning with brunch at popular spots like Homeground Coffee + Kitchen or Folk Café. For craft cocktails and lively evening vibes, head to The Pig or The Crafty Baa. Traditional pubs like The Lamplighter Dining Rooms serve hearty food, while The Smith offers a contemporary setting. For adventure, stroll to Bowness-on-Windermere to enjoy water sports or explore scenic hiking trails like Orrest Head or Wansfell Pike for stunning panoramic views.  
  
Guest Access:  
The property features three bedrooms, each with Smart TVs and en-suite facilities. Additionally, it offers a family room, open-plan living space, kitchen, utility room, and sitting room. Amenities include central heating, a range cooker, 10 Smart TVs, WIFI, and an Amazon Echo Plus. Off-road parking for six cars, a rear garden with astroturf, picnic tables, and barbecue are also available. Bed linens and towels are provided for all guests.  
  
We’re pleased to share that a convenient tap has been installed at Rosemount, perfect for washing your pets after a day of exploring! As of October 2024, pets are welcome at the property for a small token fee. Please let us know in advance how many pets will be joining you.

Located in the charming town of Windermere, the house provides a convenient base for exploring the Lake District and its surroundings.   
  
Within walking distance, guests can enjoy the picturesque Lake Windermere, perfect for water sports enthusiasts. Nearby attractions include The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction and the Windermere Jetty Museum, offering cultural experiences for all ages.   
  
For outdoor adventures, Queen Adelaide’s Hill and Orrest Head provide stunning views of the surrounding landscape. And when it's time to unwind, Hooked offers fresh seafood just a short stroll away.   
  
Venturing further, Ambleside offers historical sites like Ambleside Roman Fort and natural wonders like Stock Ghyll Force waterfall. Hawkshead village, known for its quaint charm and connections to William Wordsworth, is also within reach.

Parking is available for up to six vehicles at Rosemount, however, there are easily accessible public transport options to consider:   
  
Train - Windermere railway station is located nearby, offering regular services from major cities such as Manchester, London, and Glasgow. From Windermere station, Lake Road is just a short taxi ride away.   
  
Bus - Windermere town is well-served by local bus services, with stops along Lake Road and nearby areas. Guests can check local bus schedules and routes for convenient travel options.   
  
Taxi - Taxis are readily available in Windermere, providing a convenient option for guests arriving at Windermere station or other nearby locations.
