We stayed at this hotel while visiting Shenandoah National Park. It was north of the park about 5-10 minutes. There are plenty of accommodations close by, but you do need to drive into town if you want local food or coffee. We were very pleased with the location, cleanliness, and on site amenities.

Customer service was great! We had our next door neighbors making so much noise around 2 am which woke me up . Breakfast was not so good, good thing I asked just for one time. Checking out was smooth and we were offered extra water bottles to take for our trip. Overall experience was good, definitely, we could stay again here.

Usually we love this property. The staff was very helpful. The restaurant had been closed after I made our reservations specifically asking if it was open they said yes. It closed the week before we arrived. The hot tub did not work. Checked in on Wednesday had to ask for room cleaning on Saturday.

My room's window looked at a concrete wall, the sink was clogged, the phone would not ring the front desk, there were no robes or slippers in order to go to the pool, the pool was cloudy, the hot tub jets were broken and had things floating in it

Staff is very friendly and nice. Would have been nice to know before booking that the hotel was doing renovations. The elevator safety feature would be nice. The breakfast was not very good at all probably due to restaurant renovations.

I liked how easy check in and out was, the staff was very helpful and accommodating... The restaurant attached to the hotel was very convenient, however there are other shopping centers around the hotel that also have places to eat and shop! Great overall!

The girl at check in was great, very personable. The staff was very nice. Room fridge was extremely noisy at night and shower head was crazy but other than that, the king bed was awesome.

This was our second stay (same time last year) at this particular DoubleTree hotel. The hotel itself is great and we had high expectations after last year's stay. However, that was not the case this time. Our room was never cleaned after our first night's stay. The shower has large bottles affixed to the shower for Shower Gel/Body Wash (2 of them) and a Cleansing Shampoo. Both body wash bottles (mind you these are 16 ounce bottles) were empty enough that the pump couldn't get anything out of them and they don't come off the wall so you can't shake them. Also, the coffee machine was missing the part that holds the coffee/tea bags so although it would boil the water and put it into your cup(s), the pods/bag had to sit inside your cup and you had to spoon them out yourself. There was only one small bar of soap for the sink and the shower so you needed to make the best of it. None of these are "deal breakers", but I have come to expect better from DoubleTree/Hilton hotels and in particular this one.

Just a very nice hotel with a lot of amenities and a great restaurant attached to the hotel. I wished I brought my golf clubs because there is a nice course right behind it.

I love this property. Number one, it's a Hilton property and my experiences with their properties have always been pleasant. This hotel is less than a mile from several restaurants and shopping options. As you exit the property you have a lovely view of Shenandoah mountains which is a lovely plus, oh and let's not forget, you get a large tasty cookie on check-in.

Everything was first rate. The big plus was there is a beautiful golf course adjacent to the hotel which has reduced rates for guests. This was the quietest hotel I've ever stayed at, really. My room had a view of the golf course and its slice of the surrounding mountains.

Overall stay C+ still best hotel in Front Royal
Staff seemed perturbed , annoyed when requesting a child crib. The hot tub needs to be cleaned , the whole pool area has a big infestation ; numerous bugs crawling up the glass windows. Plenty of towels to use down at pool, room was spacious and beds comfortable!

Very friendly desk staff. Spent a beautiful afternoon on the patio overlooking a golf course and the mountains. Close to restaurants and an EV charger. When our tv wouldn’t work, someone came right up to fix it. Spacious room. Will definitely return.

Check in and relax !
This was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our trip. The room was big/ clean and quiet. Having a restaurant on the premises was an added bonus. Good food and service and a bar for cocktails after a long drive hit the spot without having to leave the hotel. Breakfast was great too!

Very expensive. TV remote didn’t work properly. To turn it on and off, you had to walk over and press a button. After struggling with it for quite some time trying to get it to come on, I went to the front desk. When I told them the room number I was staying in, I was immediately told “yeah, that remote doesn’t work right”. Why not tell me when I check in, or better yet, fix it??? Overall, not a pleasant experience for $275 a night.
