Welcome to The Star House, a peaceful Hill Country ranch retreat surrounded by rolling hills, valley views, and private acreage. This quiet and scenic getaway is designed for relaxation, nature, and connection—offering an authentically Hill Country experience where guests can truly unplug. While the home feels secluded and rural, it is conveniently located less than 5 minutes from downtown Wimberley, making it easy to enjoy the town’s charming shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The Star House is also extremely close to popular Wimberley destinations, including the beloved Blue Hole Regional Park, which is just a 5-minute drive away.  
  
The home features two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, comfortably sleeping four guests. Both bedrooms include king-size beds and private ensuite bathrooms—one with a spacious walk-in shower and the other with a tub and shower combo—making the layout ideal for couples, families, or friends traveling together. An additional half bathroom is conveniently located at the front of the home for shared use.  
  
One of the most cherished features of The Star House is the expansive wrap-around deck, which offers sweeping views of the hills and the valley below. This outdoor living space includes a propane grill, a dining table for al fresco meals, and several places to relax—loungers for sunbathing, comfortable patio seating for morning coffee or evening cocktails, and even a hammock perfect for slow afternoons in the breeze. Wildlife often wanders through the surrounding acreage, and the peaceful environment makes it easy to unwind, stargaze, and enjoy the beauty of the Hill Country.  
  
Inside, natural light fills the open-concept living spaces, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The fully stocked kitchen includes modern appliances and everything needed to cook at home, along with both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig, with coffee, creamers, and sweeteners provided for your stay. A detailed welcome book is available inside the home, offering curated local guides to wineries, distilleries, restaurants, nature trails, swimming holes, shops, and the unique culture that makes Wimberley and the Hill Country so special.

Lovely home, beautiful views and very peaceful. We stayed over a weekend for a family bday party in the area. 2 adult couples, each had our own bedroom and bathrooms which was great, beautiful kitchen and living room. Really enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck outside. Check in was easy and the owner always checked to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Would definitely stay here again!

#### 30th Birthday Stay 

 A group of friends and I stayed here for a weekend getaway for a 30th birthday. It's super close to town and to Blue Hole, but still secluded enough to where you're not surrounded by others. We enjoyed sitting on the deck at night, enjoying the breeze and looking at the sky. If you're looking for a quiet place still within proximity of things to do, this is a great option.

#### Stunning, clean and peaceful.

This house is beautiful, comfortable and super clean. The balconies offer retreats for everyone. Cozy blankets if it is chilly and comfortable seating everywhere. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking implements and there are puzzles and games to be found in the beautiful bench. Our bed felt like a hammock and I slept like a log which is rare for me. Can’t say enough good things. Close to activities and far enough away to just rest and break away from crazy.

Getaway with girlfriends, all of us over 65.We do this once a year and had a great time together.So happy with our choice of vacation rental!So much we spent most of our stay enjoying the homes views! We highly recommend it!

Property is as seen in the property description. The location is not what we expected. It is remote but when outside there is traffic noise from the highway and the view includes a couple of mobile homes. But it worked well for us as we were really just there for the sleeping arrangements and were out of the house during the day.

The house was perfect for my parents and myself. The house was lovely and had everything we needed. I really appreciate the labels for all the switches. Beautiful views but only 10 minutes from town. Will definitely try to stay here again

#### Beautiful house! Quiet peaceful setting

A great place to just get away. You might want to bring your own wash cloths as they only furnish one per guest and while the patio furniture is very comfortable, the indoor dining is only a bistro table and high bar, both which have bar stools designed for tall people. These two 5'4" ladies needed a stopl to get up on them. them.very comfortable

#### Great little Texas House

We had an absolute blast! Such a cute house...very Texas themed! We love Texas! We were four friends spending time together! It was the perfect place to do so! We lived our stay!
