The hidden bedroom was perfect for 4 of our 5 kids with plenty of space for each of them to sleep and play. The master bedroom fit me, my husband and our almost 2 year old with lots of room to spare! The two remaining bedrooms were perfect for my sister and father with their own private bathrooms. Our kids loved exploring the property and just being kids unplugged! Its 5-10 minutes away from tons of cool things to do like Jacob's well, the blue hole and all the fun downtown Wimberly has to offer. As mentioned in a few other reviews, there are not a lot of pots and pans. One frying pan to be exact. We solved for this with aluminum cooking trays from HEB. The house seemed pretty clean but the floor was filthy, the kids feet turned black after walking through barefoot and when we went to clean up spilled water by the fridge the paper towel from the floor was pretty bad. The grill ran out of propane and no one responded immediately so we went into heb and got a replacement but we heard back from the management company the following day and they did reimburse for the cost. I mentioned the floor and pans just for awareness, it would not prevent us from going here again. Definitely should mention the road is unpaved, very rocky and has some steep sections for sure. We enjoyed a lot of time on the patio taking in the view and the decor/layout of the house is welcoming and enjoyable. We took several walks just around the property enjoying the views as well. Perfect for our Stay Had a group of 9 of us together for a graduation at Texas State University. It was a great stay. Plenty of room for everyone, clean and a great location. Minutes from Wimberly, 20 min from San Marcos, 45 min to Austin and an Hour to San Antonio. Sayed for a week and really enjoyed it! Firepit is awesome, even saw some deer on the property! We were expected to stay without air in Texas. The floor hadn't been cleaned. There was trash on the rugs. A towel appeared to have not been washed. The bathtub had soap residue. Many meals were savored, and games played around the large table in the kitchen. Everyone was comfortable in their own bedroom space with individual A/C units/thermostats. The peaceful surroundings really helped us all feel like we were really getting away from it all. Very clean and appointed. Would rebook in a heartbeat. ##### Becky T.
