Located on 15 private acres of Wimberley Hill Country, this charming property is ideal to relax under the stars in a private hot tub or play a game of pool on the custom pool table. Guests will find this billiards red home is warm and inviting. With 2 bedrooms, each on separate wings of the home, making this property ideal for couples who enjoy a game of nine ball, exploring the great outdoors, or relaxing in a roomy hot tub. Upon entering, guests will be greeted with an open floor plan to include a large family room, with plenty of seating, fun artwork, and a custom pool table, creating the perfect atmosphere for an entertaining and restful getaway. Affinity Retreat offers just enough space for 4 guests. Each wing offers two large bedrooms with shower/tub combo baths. Sleep soundly in one of the two bedrooms, one offers a king and the other a queen bed. Both rooms offer plenty of space, comfortable linens as well as specific pieces chosen for each space. Prepare meals easily in this roomy kitchen, stocked with all the necessities. Gather around the large dining table that seats six. Couples, as well as small families, will find this property has plenty to keep them entertained. Relax in the living space with friends and family, enjoy a game of pool, or enjoy a movie or your favorite sports team on the large screen television. Not only is there plenty of fun indoors, with 15 acres of wide-open spaces, nature enthusiasts will enjoy exploring the expansive hill country. The back deck offers plenty of space to relax, dine or lounge on the outdoor seating. The house is ideal for couples or friends traveling together who want to get away. The towns are a short 20-30 minutes away with many places to dine and shop. It is an older home, and some of the amenities are not as convenient as in newer modern homes, but everything was in working order. I give this a solid 4 stars and do recommend it. If available, I would stay here again, but in the cooler months of Fall or Winter to enjoy the outdoors. Texas summer heat makes being outdoors unbearable. ##### Alex R. The keypad does not work properly, the hot tub would not go above 91 degrees and there was no coffee available. Most places I have stayed provide coffee but this was not a big issue. True clean, forest air, which you notice immediately. Do not be surprised if you see a few scary critters outside--it is secluded after all. Overall an unregrettable experience. We spent most of our time durung the day going hiking, kayaking, and checking out a couple of wineries. However, our evenings were spent playing pool with the kids, playing volleyball, and some horseshoes. We had such a hard time getting the kids to go to bed because they had so much fun playing pool. We also enjoyed walking around the property and enjoying the scenery and wildlife. The only downside was the hot tub was not working (we did know beforehand) during our stay and we wished we could have stayed longer. Next time we visit, we'll be sure to stay longer. This our favorite place to go to for our getaways to Wimberley. We have been here several times. If you want peace and quiet and seclusion, this is the place for you! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook an amazing Anniversary dinner and during the day we enjoyed the hot tub. We were also only a 15min drive to Wimberley Dquare. If you need a secluded, serene, private, relaxing spot. This is it. Everything is available here that is needed except food. A place that if you don't want to do anything at all (which we chose) or a place where everything is close enough to get out. Easy check in and out. Great communication with host. The only issue I had was with the trash. Said to put in outside bins which I couldn't find so I ended up hauling it home. No big deal. The hot tub water was cold and we couldn't figure out how to turn up the heat but this was not needed for the weekend. A great place. Go check it out! ##### Mike M.
