The Getaway is a bright and cozy cottage nestled near Cypress Creek. With one queen bed and a daybed with a trundle pull-out, The Getaway is perfect for couples or young families! Conveniently located 1.5 miles from Wimberley Square, the Getaway offers a fully equipped kitchen, living area, and an outdoor oasis with Cypress Creek access. If traveling in a group, make sure to check out the other Creekside Cabins located on the same property. The adorable agave-colored exterior of the home blends beautifully with the landscaping work of plants, flowers, and pottery. The decor of the home brings the beauty of nature inside with florals, hardwood floors, and a rock fireplace. Just a few steps away, the Getaway kitchen is fully stocked for all your culinary needs. Prepare veggies and sides in the kitchen and toss some steaks on the charcoal grill for a classic feast! The property itself is small, but there’s enough room for all your luggage and freely moving around. It’s not cramped at all! It’s a beautiful and quaint town that’s super convenient to get around (as there’s just one main road), and the creeks/trails are awesome. The only things I would precaution are to obviously wash all the dishes before you use them, shower early or late before the hot water runs out, and be aware there might be bugs. The place was clean, cozy & very well organized for a small cabin. The furniture was comfortable and kitchen very usable for two people. The outdoor space is excellent for reading or socializing and proximity to the creek creates a big nature vibe. Everything was wonderful we will definitely be back! ##### Elizabeth T. Awesome access to the nearby creek bed was a nice place to go out and wander (with our dog). We were also very close to downtown Wimberley, where we spent plenty of time on the restaurants and shops. Our cabin had an amazing view of the stream and trees. It was so quiet and peaceful. The only negative I had was that the mattress was not very comfortable and rolled to the middle. ##### Sharon R.
