All dogs must be registered, and a $95.00 pet fee applies. An unregistered dog will incur a $500 fine. Please keep dogs off furniture. We charge $200 if dog hair is found on the furniture, such as beds or lounge areas. We charge an additional $300 if any dog excrements is found in the house plus any replacement costs of any goods damaged because of it. Please bring bags to pick up after your dog, as our cleaning company charges extra to pick up dog waste, and we will pass this cost to the guest. Dogs must be crated if left alone in the home. No other animals are allowed. If you are bringing a service dog, you must register the dog with us prior to your stay and be aware that service dogs can never be left alone in the house and must be kept on a leash at all times. No loud parties and events. This includes excessive noise, so please refrain from fireworks and shooting. You know, the loud stuff... This is a smoke-free house. This is a very beautiful home, nicely decorated, and very comfortable down to the smallest details. We especially enjoyed the big patio, lots of room for family gatherings. Great location to relax and unwind. The town had lots of boutique shops and restaurants and all the towns people were kind and inviting. My mom, 2 sisters and I stayed at the Lazy Lavender to celebrate a milestone birthday. The place is even prettier in person and the decor is lovely. Bedding was sooo nice and the mattress was comfy. Great location - lots of birds and exotic game on neighboring property. Covered deck out back was great for enjoying coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. 5 stars!! We had family over to play cards on the big back patio table, and were visited by the axis deer while playing, and a fallow deer the next morning. The outdoor shower is a real bonus. It’s in the walls of house. Although it looks as if the house has been newly remodeled and fixed up nicely we could not shake the smell. They have plug ins everywhere and air purifiers to try and eliminate it but it’s still just so prevalent. Just 5 minutes from everything yet super private and peaceful. The hosts were fantastic as well. There were so many house rules of look but don’t touch, that it became a joke that everything was for your visual interest only. The beds were comfortable but the rest of the furniture was not very uncomfortable to sit in. The patio furniture was a bit tattered. We could have enjoyed the swing but it was too high to be able to get into and swing with your feet touching the floor. I am 5’10” tall so that swing is high. The kitchen was not very well equipped, and needed more kitchen towels and serving and mixing bowls. We did use the wine glasses and dishwasher. We did enjoy the bath tubs and especially the jacuzzi. All in all we felt a little taken advantage of on the price of the house for what we got. We would not stay again. Just too many rules. That’s just my visual opinion. ##### Clara T.
