It was definitely an older home but was so close to Blue Hole park which is why we chose it. The bed was comfy, house was clean and had everything we needed! We stayed in January so we didn’t really need to use the AC/heater wall units. (I’m curious how comfy it would be in the summer since they had a bunch of fans in all the rooms) If location to downtown Wimberely and walking distance to the park is what you’re looking for then this would be a good spot! It’s next to the Blue Hole for swimming and a fairly short walk down the Cypress Creek Nature Trail into the town of Wimberley. We watched deer, blue herons, hummingbirds, and shared the trail with a chubby raccoon. The house has been modernized. The kitchen/dining room and family/TV room are long and make the house feel large. The bedroom is also large. The bathrooms are clean and updated. There’s a large stone patio in the back and a hammock to sit/read/drink morning coffee. The street has only 5 houses so it’s quiet with no traffic. We had a great weekend and look forward to going back soon. Thanks for everything. ##### Todd D.
