Perfect one-night stay before heading to LHR
Really friendly and welcoming host with tea and freshly baked cake. Room was spotless and breakfast was delicious with plenty of options and we also had freshly baked muffins. You won't go wrong by staying here!

Very friendly and attentive staff and they went out of the way to accommodate my needs, was able to change my room at a very short notice, room was very nice and had a lot of character, will surely revisit!

We really enjoyed having you to stay. I work with a great team who are happy to help. The days are starting to get longer now so we are a great location for walks in the country side - escaping the rat race.

Friendly B&B on the hill
Staff are very friendly and go out of the way to make you feel comfortable, I stayed in the luxury room and that was very clean and spacious, Other than the location its a great place to stay!

The best stay in town
Room was spacious, bed was extremely comfortable. It's so peaceful and quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I have been to Overtown Manor on multiple occasions and will be back again whenever I'm nearby.

Great B&B
Excellent in every way. It is a beautiful house in a lovely countryside setting whilst still being close to the m4. I felt very welcome, the amenities are great and the breakfast was homemade to order and delicious. I would highly recommend this b&b and will certainly be back myself. Thank you!

Absolutely best stay in the area!
Very friendly staff and owner. Quick and pleasant check-in. Free upgrade. Beautiful view and spacious room with great amenities. Quiet with lots of trees and fields around. Perfect for walks/hikes. Good Wi-Fi. Home made chocolate chip cookies. You basically feel like you are at home. I am absolutely no surprised why the rating is so high. It's one of the best places I've stayed at. Will definitely come back. Thank you 😀

I work with a brilliant team who all care about guests staying and looking after delegates meeting in the house. We try and source everything as locally as we can and serve food for meetings from the garden (when available).

Thank you so much for your review. It means a huge amount to us when guests write a review - good and bad. We work really hard to serve the best local food we can find - including local organic bread that takes 48 to prove, amazing milk, butter and cream from the brilliant Berkeley dairy in the village (we will soon be able to get yoghurts from them too) and great eggs, fresh from our neighbours (sadly we don't have our own chickens as our dogs love chickens!!). We also get lot of meat and produce from my brothers farm and our own garden.

A hidden gem
Overtown Manor is a hidden gem. A haven of tranquility and a great place to wind down after a hard day at work. Nancy makes you feel like part of the family. Whether having breakfast in the kitchen or getting a packed breakfast to go, the food is great. The rooms are beautifully kitted out and are very comfortable.

PERFECT B&B
Beautiful B&B on a lovely quiet farm. Rooms are pristine and beautifully decorated. Nancy is a lovely, attentive owner and a fabulous cook. Homemade breakfast and snacks were delicious and hearty. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

What a Gem
Nancy was absolutely lovely, the home is superb and I was made to feel at ease and comfortable at all times. the addition of the tray supper and the G&T just added to the overall homely feel. I was out at work all day and coming back to a place that is so welcoming and comfortable is just great. Have to mention bug the dog who is just gorgeous. As a Vegetarian it was so nice to be catered for with both breakfast and supper, i had a lovely cooked veggie breakfast each day and a lovely veg tagine for supper. highly recommended.

Superior hotel on the Thames
Better than I imagined. LOVED IT. Definitely take a walk outside at night to see the house lit up for the evening. Enchanting place, can't wait to go again.

I really wanted to love this hotel because it is very close to the client I will be working for a while. It is a small cute hotel/B&B. The lady that runs the place is really lovely and her welcoming was first class. The room looked really nice so I was initially very happy. Unfortunately, the bed was hard as a rock and even though the heating was at full blast I was very cold(windows need an upgrade I think). The towels were like sand paper! I guess they forgot to use conditioner (a few times). Honestly, I have been using hotel for years and I have never seen towels like the ones I used in this hotel. The breakfast was very nice. In case you don't like dogs or are allergic, they have two dogs that will greet you and will be around when you have breakfast. I love dogs so no issues there. The lady asked at breakfast time If I had a good night sleep but there were other customer at the table having breakfast and I did not want to raise my points above in front of them. Also, she is so lovely that I did not want to be critical of her hotel.There was no iron/ironing board in the room and the kettle really needs an upgrade. The Wifi was brilliant. Really fast. Lovely toiletries. Nice selection of tea bags in the room. The room has to be vacated at 10am and check in is after 5pm. I did not mind because I was working but if you are on holidays these times could be inconvenient (most hotels let you check in at 2/3 pm and check out at 11/12)
Thank you for your feedback which we always take on board - we constantly strive to improve the service we offer. New towels have been ordered. I'm so sorry you found the bed uncomfortable, our feedback has been very positive regarding the beds and how comfortable they are. I am sorry you were cold. If you had asked I would have provided an extra blanket, or boasted the heating in your room, it can easily be turned up. The house is listed so we are limited as to what we can do with the windows. There is always an iron available to use. I choose the kettles because they are small and perfect for a quick cup of tea or coffee. We try to make it clear that we are NOT a hotel, but a family run Bed and Breakfast. Our check in times are comparable to other B&B’s. Having said that, we try to be accommodating if someone needs to stay later or arrive earlier. I can only apologise again that we did not meet your expectations. We very much hope that if you stay with us in the future we will have rectified some of the things you noticed, and once again thank you for your feedback.

Amazing place!
I stay away a lot and this is by far the best place I've stayed in. Really nice and clean. Staff and owners were brilliant and went out of their way to make sure I enjoyed my stay. Lovely breakfast and all consumables (toiletries, coffe, tea) were of the highest quality. Only minor downside was that there's hardly any mobile reception but everything else was outstanding.

Excellent B&B in the south Cotswolds
This B&B was a wonderful experience. Nancy was delightful and a thoughtful and gracious hostess. The property is beautiful with nice gardens and watching the horses and the three generations participating in the morning feeding was too. Nancy prepared a great breakfast and provided a good recommendation for dining. The location, while rural, was convenient for Avebury, Bath, and the Cotswold villiages. I'd definitely return!

Highest quality, relaxing, charming and immaculate accomodation
Statement: Our stay at Overtown Manor was the most pleasant stay we had while in England and Germany for a month. Justify: This is the only review my wife and I have ever written for an accommodation provider - which is testimony in itself. Beautiful, immaculately maintained, spacious and "all the creature comforts you could ask for" accommodation. Manicured gardens to stroll around.
