« We booked through Travelocity and the description never mentioned that the toilet was a bucket where one puts cedar shavings over your business. The toilet does not flush and it is a composting-type toilet. In texts prior to our stay, the owner/manager described that we should be careful with the "cedar loo toilet" that it doesn't "overflow". I was unfamiliar with that term but assumed it had sensitive plumbing because the mention of "overflowing". We were only at the place for 15 minutes and...

« Laundry onsite, host was amazing with communication and approachable. Bed is at end of life, very soft with a hollow in middle, some areas of home were not cleaned well, bed base dusty dirty( what was visible beside mattress), bedside table wasn’t clean. Dishes put away by prior guests were dirty.I couldn’t adjust my heat, got a bit warm. This is the basement and there was significant creaky stair noise above the bed. That said this is a lovely place and was perfect for my stay and would stay...

"The sound from the fan outside makes a crazy noise, the answer was "oh we are very sorry" but we have no more room available right now. When you stay in hotel, it's just because you want to rest and sleep.It doesn't make any sense to rent a room where you cannot sleep in ! I haven't even spent the night because it was so noisy.I had to leave to another place in town. I've been staying to that place in the last 15 years.But that's the very last time. "

"Tres bon emplacement a Portland, possibilité d’être à pied en hyper centre, personnel très efficace, pas de petit déjeuner, mais un excellent café et des cookies frais dans le séjour de l’hôtel le matin ! Excellent rapport qualité prix pour Portland. À noter : en restant 2 nuits, pas de service de chambre le deuxième jour, ce qui est un peu dommage..sans changer le linge, vider les poubelles et remettre de l’eau et du café aurait été parfait !"
