This first floor apartment marries modern luxury with old world charm, and every detail has been painstakingly thought out with our guests in mind. With large windows, decorative historic fireplaces, and original wood flooring, the history buff will love the historic details that were kept during this renovation. All this within walking distance of all downtown has to offer. This one bedroom, one bathroom apartment is located on the first floor of one of downtown's charming historic mansions. The entire property was renovated from floor to ceiling in a way that retains the charm of historic touches while also adding the convenience of modern amenities. The soaring ceilings and large windows make this apartment feel spacious and bright throughout. The updated kitchen features plenty of cabinet and counter top space as well as all the essentials that you'd need to make a home cooked meal. There are two barstools for seating. The large living room centers around a decorative fireplace and offers lots of cozy seating space for relaxing after a long day. Pocket doors lead from the living room into the stunning bedroom complete with a king size bed, arm chairs, and another beautiful, decorative fireplace. Off of the living room is a full bathroom complete with a tiled, walk in shower and linen closet. Through the bathroom door, there's a dressing room complete with make up mirrors, a dresser, and a rack for clothing storage. The best part of the apartment is the screened in porch with comfortable seating where you can start your day with a cup of coffee or enjoy a drink in the evening. Guests will have access to the entire apartment as well as a designated parking space in the gravel lot behind the house. We do have a locked closet for owner storage, but other than that you are able to use anything in the house. There are 5 other apartments in this house, but they all have a completely separate entrance. The only shared spaces are the backyard and parking areas. Guests can reach the host through messaging. There is a designated parking spot in the gravel lot right behind the house. Please be sure to review our cancellation policy prior to making your reservation. We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance at the time of booking. If you are travelling with a large group please see our other "Palazzo Sul Monte" listings. So beautifully decorated, very clean, has everything you need and an amazing location in the gorgeous historic district with a short walk to the riverwalk with lots of restaurants and shopping.
